In Rookies?

I'm pretty sure the Domino Squad is in the epsiode Rookies --Wikia Boy 13:56, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • No. JangFett (Talk) 14:32, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • but, they're the same clone form Clone Cadets Unsigned comment by Wikia Boy (talk • contribs).
      • As were several other clones not in Domino Squad. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 16:46, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
        • Domino squad was a squad of clone cadets on Kamino. The clones on the Rishi moon were another group. Not Domino squad. 1358 (Talk) 17:02, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
          • The clone of Domino Squad and the clones on the Rishi outpost were the same clones. Plus some more clone on the outpost. They just werent there as Domino Squad? --The Great and Grand Count Mall! 02:51, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
    • I would be interested in a more detailed response than simply "no" on this one. Domino Squad can be seen in a number of episodes (as I added in my edit back in August, which you reverted without explanation). They're the same clones, still together as their squad from Kamino. In the Republic Commando series, we see that it's business-as-usual for clones to both continue under their own squad name (Delta) and to be given a new squad name when joined together (Omega). So why is Domino being treated differently here? DigiFluid 19:44, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
      • Do you have any official source saying that the clones on the moon are Domino squad? If not, it's speculation. 1358 (Talk) 19:48, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
        • Defenders of the Republic mentions a "former Domino Squad" in its "Rookies" part. Nahdar Vebb 19:48, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
          • How is it speculation? Pay attention during the episodes: it was Hevy, Fives, and Echo on Kamino in Clone Cadets, at Rishi in Rookies, in ARC Troopers, and in the Citadel arc near the end of Season 3. Their first chronological appearance was in Clone Cadets, where they're identified as Domino Squad. And we have in-universe examples of clones continuing to use their squad names after Kamino, in the RC novels. So why is Domino being treated differently? DigiFluid 20:21, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
            • Because for Domino Squad, there basically is no evidence to suggest that they continued to use their squad name after leaving Kamino. As Nahdar just pointed out, Domino Squad is a "former" unit by the time of "Rookies," meaning that it no longer exists. Official material supersedes precedence, if any, from earlier scenarios. • Because you didn't read my edit. :) Nahdar Vebb 06:47, October 27, 2011 (UTC)
            • Just to touch on the one point you raised so you don't get the idea that it was overlooked unfairly, the RC novels also make repeated mention of squad's being retasked, rearranged, and renamed due to a number of different circumstances. Therefore, the fact that these specific clones cease to operate under the label of "Domino Squad" is not going against precedent. And while it may seem odd, we have to go by what is canonically given, and "Defenders of the Republic" states that the group of clones are formerly of Domino Squad. Bella'Mia 07:13, October 27, 2011 (UTC)
              • Mmmm....I don't like it, seems to me that repeated(!) precedent in one part of C-Canon (the RC novels) would trump a single contrary mention in another C-Canon source (the aforementioned TCW comic). I think there's something to be said here for giving one source undue weight over several others. I'm not going to change anything because I'm not interested in fighting a losing war against what appears to be otherwise consensus, but I think that the current Wookieepedia consensus on this is in error. DigiFluid 17:15, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
                • I'm not sure I see your point here. There is no source confirming that Domino squad was in Rookies or whatever we were talking about (:P), so I don't think any source is given less weight than another. 1358 (Talk) 17:27, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
