[edit] BIRTHDATE

Who came up with EQ3's brithdate of 72 BBY? I ask, because in Star Wars: Galaxies, Baobab makes mention of something happening "eighty or ninety years ago". Cutch 21:36, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

  • I believe that was the year in Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide that was metioned as his birth. Admiral J. Nebulax 23:09, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Name

What's with the Q3 part? -- Doo Doo 21:50, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Baobab HoloNet sources

Does anybody know the source for the Baobab HoloNet? --Alpha Fire 17:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

It's the Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide. I just fixed it. Cutch 19:01, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Not to be mean or anything, but the proper spot would have probably been here: Talk:Baobab HoloNet. Admiral J. Nebulax 19:35, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I know, but it was posted here, so I thought I'd answer it here. Cutch 20:40, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
      • I was actually talking to Alpha Fire. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
        • Oh. Gotcha. Cutch 20:54, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GTB&TG

I understand that Boabab writing such a book is part of continuity. But since the article about the book is OOU, should we really link to it in the in-universe section of the article? - Angel Blue (Holonet) 13:01, 17 October 2006 (PDT)

  • I'd be more for creating two articles for the book than not linking to it in the IU section of the article. Cutch 20:42, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Actually, since there are several other real world books that are ostensibly the same as in-universe books by the same name (Platt's Smugglers Guide and the Imperial Sourcebook spring to mind), a forum thread on how to deal with them in general may be warranted. jSarek 21:12, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] EQ3

Could somebody please explain why EQ3 is not simply a redirect to this article? (Or make it so that it is.) PsychoInfiltrator 01:50, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

  • For the same reason that Sunfighter Franchise, Sunlight Franchise, Regina Galas, Longshot, Shadow Bird, Princess of Blood, and Victory Ring are not redirects to Millennium Falcon. Cutch 02:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Continuity error?

The Bts section says that Galaxies created a continuity error by stating that the travel guide was published before 1 ABY. But if you look at the HolonetNews article, the headline reads "Today's Traveler - The Art of Dealing with Snivvians" - "A Galactic Phrasebook & Travel Guide Supplement"

So it seems the guide was published as early as 22 BBY. --Craven 13:06, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
