Talk:Eixes Valorum
Back to page
Should it not be Eixes Valorum rather than the other way around? QuentinGeorge 04:20, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- It said Valorum Eixes in Labyrinth of Evil, but it probably was a misspelling. -- SFH 04:27, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- All other Valorums have the surname last, so I'm going to move this to "Eixes Valorum". QuentinGeorge 04:29, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Date of service
Edit
It's been a month or so since I read LOE, so I may have forgotten, but where did it state that he served at 232 BBY? All I recall is that Organa mentioned that thr State of the Republic Address was an archaic tradition and that Eixes was the last to make one - nothing about specific dates. - I was wondering about that. The Ep 1 VD stated a Valorum was Chancellor in 100 BBY, which, made me think that since Eixes had served in 232, that it was ANOTHER Valorum. However, if this 232 date is unsourced, it may be the same Valorum. QuentinGeorge 04:45, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Should we have kept the name order from Labyrinth of Evil? Iy may be correct. "Valorum Eixes" might be a sort of combined last name (like Sal-Solo), the son of a Valorum lady and an Eixes gentleman. Or Perhaps he is a member of the Eixes family, but has Valorum blood in him, and got his mom's family's name as his first nameJustinGann 19:37, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- The Darth Plagueis novel (chapter: The Hunter's Moon) states that Eixes Valorum's chancellorship was decided during a Gathering when Caar Damask was boss on Sojourn, so, considering Plagueis is about 150 or so in 67 BBY ("well over a hundred"), this Valorum's chancellorship ought to be somewhere between 200 and 100 BBY. --R5-X41238-G8-R3-3124-D2 12:27, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
