Beastie Boys nameEdit

Include Behind the Scenes info from this article about his name and costume references to the Beastie Boys?

  • Wow, it really is a Beasties reference? I saw the name and immediately thought it could be a Hello Nasty tribute, but that seemed so random that I didn't want to get my hopes up. That's pretty rad. 01:45, October 10, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, so the Databank says that he is part of Blue Squadron during the Battle of Starkiller Base, but in the film he clearly responds to the callsign R6. Thoughts? Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 00:00, January 17, 2016 (UTC)

That's why I originally titled his callsign as R6, but there could have been another Abednedo that was in Red Squadron. I think that his callsign should be R6 since there's no other pilot of his species in the battle. Jellymastah (talk) 00:08, January 17, 2016 (UTC)

  • Are we certain of that, though? I don't think we saw every pilot, and a member of his species in pilot garbs could be seen at the Resistance base celebrating with the others. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 20:32, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
    • I know that this discussion is old, but for anyone reading, in reponse to Clonehunter, the other Abednedo pilot is now confirmed to be C'ai Threnalli. Banana32 (talk) 23:33, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
