So, this day was like 4th July in USA, I suppose? Did Palpatine make a speech each year, with the Imperial March predecing it?... :-P

• Yes, it was in the novel when Master Yoda met new Emperor Palpatine, Palpatine wishing him "Happy Empire Day!"
