Talk:Eriadu

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

How exactly can a hyperlane be rerouted due to economic factors? I can understand natural factors (such as the sudden appearance of a black hole) but how exactly can you change it due to economics? Yell "Hey, gravity wells. We're trying to help commerce here. Move along!" or something of that nature? -- SFH 22:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

  • As I understand it, hyperlanes are partly a natural phenomenon and partly due to having the space charted out enough that faster and otherwise less safe routes can be plotted. The CIS shadowfeeds have some interesting stuff on how the quality of calculations are extremely important (in reference to the defection of the Givin and their astronavigators), with Givin astronavigators circumventing Republic mining on the Corellian Trade Spine and then screwing up the lane enough with asteroids that Givin calculations are needed to travel it safely. Interesting also that two major hyperlanes cross at Yag'Dhul, and perhaps not entirely coincidental. Yrfeloran 22:52, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Purified

Any idea when Eriadu's atmosphere was purified? It mentions that the government weren't interested in cleaning the planet up, but doesn't seem to say when it was... --193.142.118.74 19:48, 30 March 2009 (UTC)beeurd talk 19:49, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
