at some point in the XW novels, I believe this type of ships is referred to as "TIE Fighter Corvette" and that another ship of the type is named.JustinGann 20:42, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Edit
Where exactly is it stated that Ession Strike and Night Caller are the same ship? I don't remember any mention of this in the Wraith trilogy. 24.250.54.143 23:13, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
Behind The Scenes
Edit
A note on the page for the Nebulon-B frigate in its Behind the Scenes section notes that fitting the specified 24 fighters is problematic due to the ship's layout and size (this is OR, but as a point of reference, I was able to fit MAYBE 6 X-wings on a Nebulon-B using just internal volume and no external hull modifications while juggling properly-scaled 3D models).
Nightcaller and her sisters are vessels half this length. Given that this problem is highlighted on one page already, shouldn't the same be noted here as well? There's frankly no way to fit ONE X-wing in the forward hold of a Corvette if you only modify its internal decks, much less an entire squadron of them. This would require a pretty radical redesign of the forward hull to provide the needed storage and operating (spotting, takeoff/landing, maintenance, etc.) space.
