Talk:Ewan McGregor

Other Works
Edit
- Wouldn't it make sense to add some of his other works or at least change it to one of is more famous movies. Darth Nezzera (Talk) 21:53, 23 September 2007(UTC)
Star Wars Criticism
Edit
- I think this section should be removed only because there are even more sources of Ewan enjoying his contribution to Star Wars than there are criticisms. I should also point out that Ewan's only real criticism over the years has been all the Blue/green screen work, not the movies themselves. I'll try to find some of the more positive interviews he's given. --Jacenskylo 01:26, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. This section is incredibly biased, and many of McGregor's statements show his grea appreciation of being involved in the films. Just because he says they're not his best work doesn't mean he hates them. That's far from true. It also might be relevant or interesting to note (in another section or the former section) that McGregor has often talked about his love of Star Wars as a child. From everything I've seen and heard from him, he loves Star Wars all around, he just has some reservations about the overall quality of the PT.

I agree with the comments made by Jacenskylo in October 2007 and by solojones in April 2008. I know this is an old discussion, but I only recently read this article, and since it still seems biased to me, I am assuming it was not changed? I was rather surprised when I read the article, seeing as how everything I have ever heard or read about Ewan McGregor spoke of how much he enjoyed Star Wars, so I did a search for the comment mentioned (the original link provided, not longer exist), and Ewan only ever said that Star Wars was not his favourite films to have worked on, which is understandable, given that he has never made any secret of the fact that he did not like all the blue/green screen work. Every other comment I could find, was of Ewan stating how much he loved the Star Wars films, both as an adult and as a child. Comments can and probably often are, given meanings they were never intended to have. --155.240.161.3 12:57, February 11, 2010 (UTC)ObiWanKTS
