If anyone is planning on expanding this article sometime, it might be worth noting that Tim Zahn said in a talk at Celebration III that the Far Outsides are the Yuuzhan Vong, but at the time he wasn't allowed to say at the time because Del Rey would be doing the NJO books, not Bantam. So he was only allowed to imply the fact that there was a big nasty threat nearby. --Beeurd 19:18, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
