Wrong photo[]

FiESirch-SWCTP

Hi guys, I'm positive that the image which was being used here is the wrong photo for Fi-Ek Sirch. I remember reading the StarWars.com thing that first named him, which was in direct reference to the previously unnamed "Nikto" jedi action figure.

NiktoToy

That character had a white/cream-coloured outer robe over a dark brown tunic, whereas this picture shows a character wearing the opposite combination.

Although I don't have them at my fingertips, I know for a fact that other correct photos of the white-robed Nikto identified as Fi-Ek Sirch do exist; on the toy's packaging, for example. Also, if you watch the webdocs on the Ep.II DVD and also check out the Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels book, you'll note that there were more than one Nikto Jedi at Geonosis, including the white-robed Fi-Ek Sirch. The picture used here isn't Fi-Ek.

I'll fix it when I have the chance, unless someone else beats me to it. Ta, -DarthBinks.

  • So, I've now added the canonical image on to his profile. It's a scan of the toy packaging, so it's a bit grainy. I'm 99% sure that the full picture (in much better resolution) is in the Star Wars Chronicles Prequels book, but I don't own a copy myself. If anyone out there would be so kind as to scan it and add it here, that'd be great. Cheers, -DarthBinks.
  • You are correct, Fi-Ek Sirch is the Nikto Jedi in white with a blue lightsaber. There is more than one Nikto in the arena. In fact, there are 3 Nikto Jedi in the arena. One of them is an unidentified Jedi a green lightsaber who jumps over a destroyed column and destroys a battle droid. Judging by his acrobatic attack, he seems to be a practitioner of Form IV: Ataru. This Nikto's fate is unknown. The third Nikto Jedi is the one in dark colors with a blue lightsaber. He is often erroneously identified as Fi-Ek Sirch. He is an unidentified extra. He cannot be Fi-Ek Sirch because Sirch dies on Geonosis. I was recently watching Episode 2. I noticed that he does not go down without getting back up. The official Star Wars site has stated that there are survivors of the Battle of Geonosis seen in the Petranaki Arena in Episode 2 who are not within the circle, including Roan Shryne, Pablo-Jill, and Bairdon Jace. The official site also says some Jedi seen in the arena in Episode 2 were wounded but not killed, and survive the Battle of Geonosis. I noticed that the Nikto in dark colors with a blue lightsaber is one of these Jedi because he survives being shot by a Droideka. Judging by his ability to deflect blaster bolts and only attacking as a last resort, he appears to be a practitioner of Form III: Soresu. Most of the survivors of the Battle of Geonosis seen in the arena in Episode 2 who are not in the circle are unidentified extras.

Name[]

Insider 68 says his name is "Fi'ek", while we have it as "Fi-Ek". It's possible that this is how it appeared in the online Q&A feature, meaning it was changed from the print version. Or, we could just be mistaken. Should we move it? -- Ozzel 21:54, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

death?[]

i not sure if he die in the battle of geonosis Unsigned comment by JediWilliam55 (talk • contribs).

He did not die, he escaped the arena. Jakealock123 00:53, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

  • The best canon source we have lists him as likely killed, therefore that's why his death is noted in the infobox. If in the future more information is revealed, then it can be changed. For right now, it's best we leave it as it is. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 00:55, October 18, 2011 (UTC)
