Talk:Fi Skirata

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

Hi, is there any plans to expand this page? Cause it seems to me that this is pretty brief. There is definately more info that can be added into the coruscant mission section. (124.177.162.145 00:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC))

  • It's a wiki. if you have the info, do it yourself. :) --tzzA 00:43, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] His name

I think the Behind the Scenes section is totally wrong. Where's the source of fi meaning son in High Galactic? Or that it would be short for fierfek? Clearly it is short for fifteen, since his designation number actually is RC-8015. Anyone with me on this? ~~grobiano~~

I, personally disagree. "Fi" isn't short for fifteen, because in either Hard Contact or Triple Zero of the Republic Commando series there's a diying clone trooper called "Fi", and his number has nothing to do with fifteen. I think the Fierfekthing is more likely true, seeing as it's so widely used. Still, what about the "fi" meaning "son" in high galactic? ~~Clone Commander Scourge~~

  • We can't know for sure whether the dying Fi's name has anything to do with his designation. It sure isn't ruled out as a possibility. Also, notice how the other members of Omega Squad have their names explained in the books (Darman is mentioned to be derived from dar'manda, Atin means stubborn, and Niner is of course a play on nine, as his number is RC-1309). It'd just seem weird if Fi wasn't short for "fifteen". As for the High Galactic thing, I've found it's actually mentioned in an article on this very encyclopedia, called "Fi (High Galactic)". ~~grobiano~~
    • Okay, according to Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel, Fi's name actually is derived from fifteen. ~~grobiano~~
      • Err... so go ahead and change it?
