• Probably not. The basic look of the tripods in the new film isn't too far off from Wells's description of them in his novel, or of some of the art depicting them. They have left a fairly broad cultural imprint, especially among SF fans, and the fact that the Fire Breathers look like the tripods may be either an unconscious influence or direct homage (given how familiar that particular piece of art looks, I'm willing to bet the latter). jSarek 07:05, 6 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Fire Breather's height Edit

While it is stated here in Wookieepedia that the estimated height of a Fire Breather is 10 meters, but when I read the Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse, specifically in Chapter 1, it is stated that the Fire Breather is around 30 meters (which makes it taller than the Imperial AT-AT walker). So basically, what is the possible estimated height of a Fire Breather? --Cossack_25A-1
