Talk:Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
I added this sentence:
- The origins of earlier types of this ship seem to go far back as the Jedi Civil War.
My source being the Battle of the Star Forge scenes from Kotor. Do we know anything else about the ships that appear there? Moff Rebus 09:23, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Pic
Surely we can get a better pic for this. CooperTFN 06:11, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I, er... "borrowed" the one from the Slave I page. That any better?TIEPilot051999 06:18, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Better. What do you think of this one? CooperTFN 06:24, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Hmm. Yeah. I like that one, too. I think it would be better.TIEPilot051999 06:25, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Though I'm not saying we should remove the current one...I believe we should add this one sometime too, perhaps when the article gets bigger. -Jaymach Ral'Tir 20:18, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I believe we should use a pic of the Firespray with its original colors.--Darth OblivionComlink

- What's with the Firespray in Galaxies? Is it a different variation of Firespray?

[edit] Where is the 31 from?
Why is the title of this article Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft? What source? Shouldn't it be just Firespray-class patrol and attack craft ? - JMAS 21:40, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you'd look at the edit summaries, you'd see VT-16's source. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I beg your forgiveness for not noticing that. So, the article name was changed based on one single source? Nevermind that the NEGVV as well as the SW.com databank list is only as a Firespray-class with 31 nowhere to be seen. - JMAS 21:53, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- 1) I didn't mean to sound rude. Sorry. 2) TNEGtVaV and the Databank are not perfect. If one source says this is the official name, then it is. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I too apologize for the sarcasm. Off moment for me. I realize sources can be wrong. Case in point, the Tri-droid/Octuptarra droid problem in the NEGTD. However, to me, it seems as if only one source, out of many, claim the 31 is there, then it's not enough to warrant changing the name, unless and until more sources verify the information. - JMAS 22:00, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Uh, one source is enough to warrant a change here. If it's said that the "31" was a part of the actual designation, then it was. It doesn't need another source to back it up. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- All of the WotC RPG stuff refers to it like that. Revised Core Rulebook page 230, Rebellion Era Sourcebook page 101, and Starships of the Galaxy page 81. -- Darth Culator 00:12, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

- I believe WOTC may have made a small retcon in Starships of the Galaxy. The old sources called this "Firespray-class," but SOTG just calls it "Firespray-31" with no "-class." JimRaynor55 04:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I figured that "-class" was still in there, which I believe it has been stated in one source... Not sure, though. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Alright. That works for me. All I really was looking for was a single additional source. - JMAS 14:49, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'll look for it. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

[edit] Mandalorian use...
I think I saw this in a Jango Fett comic in the background in Mandalorian usage. I'll have an image soon. - It sure looks like one. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- It's a Meteor-class Q-Carrier. Page 5 of that same comic (Open Seasons 2) shows them entering these vessels. DarthMRN 13:17, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hasbro Titanium
http://www.rebelscum.com/Titanium/sw07TSfiresprayLS-m.jpg RebelScum Page
"Reintroduced around the time of the Battle of Yavin to capitalize on the folk-hero status of infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, the Firespray-class patrol ship has become a popular all-purpose ship for those wealthy enough to afford one. With speed and armament equal to that of a Rebel Y-wing fighter, the Firespray is much more powerful than most private craft, making it a ship that many Imperial commanders tend to look at askance. Though it is seen by many as the ship of choice for the bounty-hunter wannabe, in point of fact it is a demanding vehicle that requires a skilled pilot to realize its full potential." -Hasbro
- I want to add the "..it is seen by many as the ship of choice for the bounty-hunter wannabe" line to the top of this page GMo 22:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge?
Shouldnt this be merged with Slave I? Darth Whatever 21:24, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- No. Slave I is this kind of ship, but this article is about the line of ships. For instance, Avenger wouldn't be merged with Imperial-II class Star Destroyer would it? DarthtylerTalk 21:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- OK,who else owns a Firespray? Darth Whatever 21:30, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- These:
- Krassis Trelix
- Emon Azzameen
- Mandalorian Protectors

[edit] Unearthed
Could someone find out what the deal is with the Unearthed, the Firespray mentioned in Aach Een article. If it is correct, there were actually two exant Firespays after Jango destroyed the rest of the prototypes. This would be a very important addition to this article, but the Unearthed article was deleted and I know nothing about it. If some one has the Ultimate Adversaries source book, please look up Aach Een and confirm he used one. Thanks. IthinkIwannaLeia 17:02, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
