Talk:Fission bomb
Back to page
This probably doesn't need to be its own article. A "fission bomb" is pretty clearly a type of nuclear bomb (and, incidentally, not thermonuclear), and as such should be on that page, not have its own. Thoughts? 207.172.86.121 19:17, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Except it's clearly mentioned as its own device IU; it may be a type of nuclear bomb, but it's still its own unit. Merging the two would be like merging fragmentation grenade or thermal detonator with grenade. Jorrel

- Jorrel has it right, I think — but, just as the grenade article should mention frag grenades and thermal detonators, the nuclear bomb article should mention fission bombs, neutron bombs, and probably atomic compression bombs (fusion bombs?) as types of nuclear weapons. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:29, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
