In response to the question about Fondor's role in EaW, Fondor is one of the few planets in the game that is capable of producing capital ships such as the Imperial-II-class Star Destroyers and Mon Cal Cruisers. It has the special effect of reducing the price of Assault Frigates by 20% if it is owned (I have the game.)
