Talk:Force kick
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
Noticing Boba Fett's movement in the background probably distracted the audience enough that most would not notice this to begin with. I know it happened to me. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:45, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yup, according to perception psychology, moving entities are more interesting to the human eye than stationary ones. KEJ 06:57, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- This will probably be digitaly changed in the 2007 definitive editions (Blu-ray)? Woun't it. Or has it already been done in the DVD relese? --Steinninn 18:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Canon
- Is this canon?--Herbsewell 15:32, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- No. -- I need a name (Complain here) 15:38, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Isn't there a template for that?--Herbsewell 15:43, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- The article was made before that template was created... if there is such a template. Is there? I can't remember. KEJ 15:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's not "noncanon". It's Out-Of-Universe. Like 1138 and the Wilhelm scream. That said, however, I will add the appropriate tag assuming it's not already done. Maclimes Zero (talk)

- Well asking from an in-universe perspective, why did that guy step back and throw his gun?--Herbsewell 15:55, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Because Luke kicked him in the face. It was simply an editing mistake, and should be ignored. Otherwise, why does Obi Wan's braid swap sides in every shot on Naboo? Etc Etc. Maclimes Zero (talk)

- Maybe Luke didn't see any reason to use any real force against the guard, as he was just doing his job, so he kicked near the guard and the guard got so flustered that he dropped his gun and fell backwards. -Milo FettComlink 15:39, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- The guard realized he wouldn't stand a chance against a Jedi, so to avoid a severe beating, he dropped his blaster and plunged himself into the Sarlacc.... no? KEJ 17:42, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think maybe Luke actually using the force with his kick is the best guess.--Herbsewell 22:53, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] force kick 2
There is also a force kick in ep 1 during the maul fight. It is a little hard to see because of the lighting.Kimu 00:45, 25 July 2007 (UTC) RC-0722 8:45 PM july 24, 2007
- Force kick is not an IU thing, but a fan label for the specific blooper in ROTJ. I am not aware of Maul's kick being referred to as a force kick in the fan community. I think I know which kick you're talking about though. KEJ 09:18, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Dooku's force kick
In episode III, during Anakin and Obi-wan's duel with Count Dooku, Dooku very obviously 'force kicks' Anakin while force choking Obi-wan. There is no way Anakin could have flown as far as he did without the force being behind Dooku's kick.
- But he doesn't kick him at all he just waves his hand and he's not the type of character to use physical force.Lieutenant J.J 03:43, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Lieutenant J.J
- He does kick Anakin, and if you look more closely (the black robes might impede your view), he does no waving of the hand- he is too focused on choking Obi-wan to force push Anakin, so he takes the easy way out and give Anakin a good kick on the shin. Meso Warrior 05:13, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Force Kick in Republic Commando novels?
I was wondering (it's been a while since I read the Republic Commando novels), but doesn't Bardan Jusik threaten someone with a force kick?--Nightmare975 20:48, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, Jusik indeed threatened someone, possibly Fi or the Mando doc, something about them feeling his Force kick on their backsides... I think RC: Order 66 should be added to the appereances as "mentioned only". Of course the line was reference to this Force kick joke, still not making it an actual, IE canonical, Force power. Of course Force kick is simply an application of telekinesis 88.115.122.123 23:00, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Luke's Lightsaber
Does anyone notice that Luke's saber is distorted as it passes to the side of him while Boba Fett is flying??? The tip seems to be above his shoulder then suddenly drops to his waist in such a way that is not normal...--Darth Marik87 21:44, 6 February 2009 (UTC) I understand that this is an editing error, but I just want to make sure I'm not the only one...--Darth Marik87 21:45, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
