Roron CorobbEdit

Could it be said that Roron Corobb used force Scream? It's hard to imagine that, two throats or no, anyone could roar loud enough to have the effects he had, plus he's the only Ithorian ever to be shown doing it.Darth Ceratis 20:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

  • No, Force Scream is an involuntary dark side ability. It's likely Corobb used the Force to enhance his voice, but if so, he used a different Force power. jSarek 20:36, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
  • It is a voluntary power in Knights of the Old Republic II, but I think I remember Shaak Ti commenting on the lung power of Ithorians in that Clone Wars episode to Palpatine, so it may not be Force Scream that Corobb used. --Jedimasterbob 18:22, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Yes, she does say something about that, but there's no way mere lung power alone, no matter how great, could rip metal apart. It would have had to have been at the very least Force-augmented.Darth Ceratis 05:45, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
      • In my opinion it very likely was a force scream. Of course I don't believe powers are inherantly light or dark either, but I think trying to create a jedi version of this power would be a laughable. DawnStrike 21:23 3 September 2007

Teneniel DjoEdit

Is it possible that in the rage of battle, (Hapan-Dathomir incident, The Courtship of Princess Leia) she let out a force scream, and therefore she bruised a vein on her face? Including this event would support the damaging effects of the 'screamer' to him/herself stated by the article.--Domlith 20:24, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Vader Scream: No F***in' way Edit

Vader did not let out a Force scream in RotS. The equipment started exploding before he even opened his mouth, and the novelization clearly implies him reaching out with the Force to crush the shadow that has destroyed him. To recap: There is no f***in' way that last segment or the picture should be included (replace it with a screenshot from KOTOR II).

Yeah your right there, because we can when you scream in pain it starts when you make noise, not before when your, oh i dont know... in shock and stunned for a few seconds?

Oh yes, and its the force, not a real scream so your talking out your exhaust port.

Involuntary?Edit

I can see in some cases listed in this article that Force scream was out of rage 'n stuff, but is it necessarily involuntary? In KOTOR II, you could use the power as much as you wanted to, as long as you had force points available. And if it IS involuntary, what is the source? --FireV 23:05, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

  • I just relised that as well and came to post a comment, I agree with you, after all how could Jacen have used words when he did it if it was only an involuntary scream? I'm going to change it now, if anybody dissagrees all they need to do is say so and give a source. - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 19:42, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Overhaul! Edit

This Article Is Dreck.

This article is so full of Original Research that it makes me want to puke. Seriously. There is more evidence for this being a distinct Force power in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords than in all other sources listed here combined. This article should also have the info from Force Bellow, possibly a light side variant of this power, merged into it. Bear in mind that this rage is directed against the article itself, and not to anyone who has edited it.--Goodwood Redstarbird (Alliance Intelligence) 19:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Knights of the Old Republic 2 Edit

I added in the inclusion of it in KOTOR 2 as a power and labeled it as non canon since you can optionally use it

Shaak Ti Edit

In the Force Unleashed, when you duel Shaak Ti she screams every now and then, throwing you back and summoning Felucian warriors. Could this be some sort of light sided variant of Force Scream? Telos 21:58, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Sidious in Ep.3?Edit

When I first used Force Scream in Kotor 2, it immediately reminded me of the scene where Sidious lunges towards the Jedi and produces an animal "snarl". It can be theorized that this was Force Scream and frightened/stunned the Jedi for a moment, allowing Sidious to dispose of them quickly. I know it's just a theory, but I feel it makes more sense than saying Vader used it in the medical facility.

Is Force Scream considered canon? Edit

This doesn't seem like an actual ability. All the examples that are used are nothing more than the dark-side user screaming in frustration and lashing out with the Force. It's like somebody (child or adult) throwing a temper tantrum. They yell and scream but that does no damage. What causes damage is when that person starts kicking or flailing about or grabing objects and throwing them.

The Force effects of this ability are nothing more than various Telekinesis powers to damage or destroy objects and the person who is screaming having such strong feelings that they are radiated through the Force over great distances.

If this is canon, it should be revisted and, in my opinion, removed as a Force Power.

can u dodge a force scream by meerly jumping over it? Edit

this person i am role playing with jumped over the force scream and he wasnt far away from at all
