First off, Anakin said "You are the Sith Lord!". Secondly, shouldn't this be merged or at the very least contain a link to Force Cloak, since they seem to do the same thing. Thirdly, that the user of this technique can hide his "alignment" is mentioned in none of the sources listed, and is contradictory to the Potentium view of the Force and therefore not neutral enough for Wikipedia IMO. Plus, it sounds quite frankly like something out of a role-playing game. Fourthly, when Vergere is mentioned, shouldn't this article contain some NJO source?DarthMRN

  • I'd like some input from perhaps more knowledgable folks before I go to the step of editing the page. Speak now or forever hold your tongue!DarthMRN
    • im agreeing with you, i think this does need a edit, maybe even a merge. Jedi Dude 18:31, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
      • Where does the term "Force Concealment" come from? Is it official, and is it officially applicable to Palpatine? - Kwenn 19:09, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
        • It might have been the name of a power from KotOR 2, although I'm unsure. As for Palp, there should be no connection other than the obvious, that he hid from the Jedi for years, but that could have been any number of different powers, listed or not. Speculation either way.DarthMRN
            • yep, thats it simply, concealment bcos thats what it does...concelas its user. no official name. Jedi Dude 20:07, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
              • I agree. I think the two articles need to be merged.JainaSolo32
                • In my opinion this is closer to Art of the Small, than Force Cloak. 2Corin 517 17:07, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Is this how you survive a THOUGHT BOMB?

  • Well, I saw this on a merge page and merged it with Quey'tek after reading the talk pages. Just in case someone doesn't know how to use the history page, I did it. I think I will add a nickname tag to this though. From what I read, Force Concealment is almost more of a category than a specific power, manifested in various different forms: Quey'tek, Art of the Small, etc. Atarumaster88 17:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I didn't bother with my contributions because 1) I think we know who edited this page 2) No one gives a bantha's butt what I did/do anyway. Atarumaster88 17:57, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

When "Force concealment" is typed into the Search box, it redirects to Force Cloak -- not really the same thing. I don't know how that would be fixed. Gonk 00:36, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Corrected, and thanks! If you want to change a redirect in the future, notice when you type in the term that the page it goes to says: "(Redirected from Force concealment)" under the article title. If you click on that link, it will bring you to the actual page where you can edit the redirect to its correct destination. -BaronGrackle 16:19, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Return of the Jedi? Edit

  • Doesn't Luke use this ability in ROTJ during the middle of his duel with Vader, when he's hiding from Vader under the stairs?

f it's not confirmed in an official source, no. their is absolutely nothing in official sources that says he did. Ralphjedimaster 01:57, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

Can't we actually use a picture with Ventress in it, since that was the example given for the power's use? You know, when she first appears behind Dooku maybe in the Clone Wars cartoon? Mrobviousjosh 13:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

  • If it's canonically confirmed use of the power, yes. A KotOR screenshot might work as well. Atarumaster88 00:05, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Yoda Edit

"Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda both used a form of Force concealment to shield themselves from Palpatine and Vader in their exile."

Isn't it stated that Yoda chose Dagobah firstly because it had been removed from the archives (as had several strong dark side focal points) and secondly because the strong dark side presence near him would negate his standing out in the force? TheImpossibleCavendish 01:34, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

please mind the talkheader policy. talk pages are not for speculation. and anyway, that does not mean he could not use the power as well, which would shield his force signature even more.Ralphjedimaster 01:59, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
