Frog-dog
Edit
I didn't know a few things when I made this one. Is it Frog-dog, frog-dog, or Frog-Dog? Also, is it a sentient or not. -- Cato Neimoidia 13:29, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- The Visual Dictionary says they're intellegent, so they're probably sentient or semisentient. -LtNOWIS 15:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Then how do you spell it? -- Cato Neimoidia 03:38, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- Tales from Jabba's Palace has it as "frog-dog", though as a sentient species it should really be capitalized. 8) —Silly Dan (talk) 03:44, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Are we sure the actual name is Frog-dog? It could just be a nickname used because few actually new the name of his species.--Darth Oblivion 23:51, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
I doubt "Frog-dog" is the actual species name. Just like "Hammerhead" or "Squid Head" or "Yak Face" are not species names but nicknames. I guess we should wait and see if the species will recieve a proper name. And yes, according to the Star Wars Databank and the short story "Tongue Tied" Buboicullaar is sentient. Does anyone have any idea what kind of lifespan these things have? AdmirableAckbac
Hey if anyone has played KOTOR II these things are on dxun its called a caddock or something
- you are reffering to cannoks, which are a different species, though the two are slightly similar.

Nickname?
Edit
Is the nickname/callsign/alias template really necessary for this article? None of the sources that mention Bubo or the frog-dogs makes any indication that there is any other name for them. Perhaps one day we'll get more background on the species that will reveal some other moniker, but for now, I am unaware of any source that suggests that "frog-dog" is anything but their proper name. ~ SavageBob 07:23, January 29, 2010 (UTC)
