[edit] Source for Galactic Republic insignia from Unification Wars?

The only articles I could find it linked to were the Bendu article (which repeats the claim but again, provides no source) and articles about Imperialization. The impression I'm getting is that it was a transitionary symbol between the eight-spoke wheel and the Empire's insignia. If there's a source that states otherwise please show. Otherwise I will feel free to rename it to "late-Clone Wars, early Empire" or somesuch. --Niirfa-sa 07:01, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
