[edit] Gand a gas giant?
Are you sure the Gand homeworld is a gas giant? I don't see how a humanoid species could evolve on such a planet. JimRaynor55 17:20, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- According to CUSWE, it's "gaseous". --Imperialles 17:23, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- They could either be living in its atmosphere, like Bespin's Cloud City or it could just be a very gaseous rocky body. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:29, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Heh, most planets are "gaseous"...with atmosphere...=) But the Tales of the Bounty Hunters books description made it seem like a rocky world with heavy, thick gas mists, but still a solid core.--SparqMan 17:55, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Lung/lungless
Zuckuss and Vaabesh were the type of Gand with lungs for breathing ammonia. But Ooryl Qrygg was the other type of Gand without lungs. Humm OK. - Finlayson 04:27, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Direct quote: "There were two main sub-species of Gands: ones with lungs and ones without lungs." -- Doo Doo talk File:Desilijic Clan (Jabba’s Tattoo) .jpg 06:02, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Right. I was commenting about Ooryl since that aspect was glossed over in the books. - Finlayson 05:34, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- My mistake. -- Doo Doo talk File:Desilijic Clan (Jabba’s Tattoo) .jpg 07:33, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. :) Finlayson 22:53, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

- I assume that the subspecies thing was a retcon to cover the fact that Ooryl specifically says he has no lungs but Zuckuss and Vabesh do in other books. Demmeis 00:18, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Quite likely. jSarek 00:23, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gand in KOTORII
Could someone give the appearance or maybe a picture or the article for this Gand appearance? Jorrel

- Speaking of the Gand in KOTOR 2 why were they so small? I was under the impression they were around human size (unless Zuckuss and Ooryl were a giants) Did I miss something? (Asharpone11 03:07, 1 March 2007 (UTC))
- zuckuss isn't realy big too, i got the bounty hunter 7 pack, and he's the smallest(and it says on wikipedia he's 1,5 meter) so he's not that big. but yea, the gands in kotor were realy small User:Raltaran
- Totally unrealated, but shouldn't the Gand with three names be added to the "Notable gands" since he by their standards must be somekind of god --Dixieboy 03:15, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- The Gand in KotORII were indeed too small. They were Jawa height, whereas if you look at pictures of Zuckuss, he is much taller.
[edit] Gand almost definately in ROTJ
Following behind the Gamorrean as Han is brought up stairway to receive sentence from Jabba. Check the SE DVD. 24.18.252.211 19:53, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- I did check the DVD, but instead of a Gand I saw an Elom. Are you sure you didn't confuse Zuckuss with Tanus Spijek? --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 20:00, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Arguments for Zuckuss: This character has what appear to be large silvery/reflective eyes, no dark areas where Tanus' eyes should be, no hair hanging from behind his eyes, what appears to be a brown head and and brown outfit, as opposed to Tanus' black body fur, and this guy's holding a weapon, I believe. Maybe even Zuckuss' Blaster from TESB. 24.18.252.211 21:34, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's Wooof. But thanks for testing the theory rather than writing it off. 134.39.61.223 21:28, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
