Valérian, a french s-f-comic, was also an influence. I remember reading somewhere that Mr. Lucas himself claimed that. [edit] Relationship to Mythology in Star Wars article

Mythology in Star Wars is more specifically about the Mythological aspects but the article here has some interesting details. The article here is more about general influences. I wonder if it could include the Mythology article, or should they be seperate, but linked ? BTW the SW Trilogy Bonus material DVD contains some interesting info about influences. • I'll be bringing more informations to that article from different sources. Since I'm french, I'll have to do a work of retranslation from my basic materials (French edition of "Star Wars : The Magic of Myth" exposition catalogue to name one)... • As my work on the "Monomyth" section is growing, it appears that the "Religion" section becomes less and less usefull, as many of the religious aspects are or will be talked about in the first one.
