Admiral?
Edit
How could he be promoted to Admiral? Tarkin was already a Grand Moff, as seen at the end of Revenge of the Sith - or at least a Moff. --Danik Kreldin 21:03, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Real-world similarities
Edit
The Ghorman Massacre seems to resemble several realworld massacres and riots including the Sharperville massacre and Soweto Riots in South Africa under Apartheid, the Bloody Sunday massacre inImperial Russia and the Tiananmen Square Massacres in the People's Republic of China. Should we mention it under Behind the Scenes? Is it save enough? MyNz 3:13, March 18 2006 (UTC)
- As long as the BTS doesn't include something like "those f*cking commies," yeah, sure its safe. In fact, I highly reccomend it--Erl 00:28, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Disagree. The similarities are too general. There are too many instances of armed government forces attacking unarmed civilians for this to unambiguously be a reference to any particular incident (much as Palpatine is similar to dozens of real-world dictators.) —Silly Dan (talk) 00:38, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Flagship?
Edit
I thought he landed a shuttle on them. At this point, he has a pretty big star destroyer, that doesnt land on landing pads. Anyone else agree with taking the flagship out, i think i remember the book saying ship, not flagship anyway. Also, the Databank uses "vessel" not flagship. --Eggzavier 02:42, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I remember the ship being called a Star Destroyer in Jedi Search. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)10:42, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Mention, mention, appearance?
Edit
With all the mentions in books, I just wonder if they're not going to actually feature this in either some literature or the live action series. I'm favoring the latter. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:52, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, this would make a perfect subject for the live action show. Great opportunity to retcon everything and have it make sense. -- Ozzel 18:35, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. It marks a major turn in the creation of the Rebel Alliance and a slowly growing lack of Imperial support. 18 BBY here we come. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:35, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's rumored it'll be featured in the TV series. We'll see! :-p Klow 19:32, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Seventh mention in Millennium Falcon but still no sighting yet. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:11, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

18 BBY?
Edit
Is there a source for the date? I always assumed it happened much later in the Empire's reign. --Azizlight 07:37, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. According Rebel Dawn novel it seems like one of a recent massacres with Devaron, Rampa 1 and 2 mentioned as well perpetrated by Empire. It's the reason why Mon Mothma secretly met with Corellian Resistance and Bria Tharen personally. I think it should be moved to much later date.Jedi Marty 03:41, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
