- Um, where is it stated that he took over as senator after Lott Dodd? --Imperialles 16:07, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- And where is it stated he comes from Cato Neimodia rather than Neimodia like most of the rest of his species? QuentinGeorge 07:12, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Looks like a number of Neimoidian entries have Cato Neimoidia as the homeworld, rather than Neimoidia. Cato is a purse-world, not the actual homeworld. And no, Libkath didn't take over as Senator, though he was originally meant to be Lott Dod in AotC - Kwenn 19:03, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The Neimoidian with Nute Gunray in Star Wars Insider 71's CIS Shadowfeed?
Edit
Is it him, shouldn't he be dead by then?--Rune Haako 06:54, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Rune Haako
Edit
It's funny, Labyrinth of Evil also calls him Rune Haako.--Rune Haako 07:01, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, since Libkath is dead by then, how do we know that it wasn't Haako? Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 13:04, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, I'm talking about on page 40 where it refers back to the Battle of Geonosis where it says, Hurrying to the catacombs with Dooku at thier side, Gunray and Haako had barely managed to flee the surface and recall what core ships and droid carriers remained.--Rune Haako 18:38, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, apparently no one realized the mistake before the book was published. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 19:05, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hey people! I dont really have anything to say about this Rune Haako thing but when I first got my account on Wookieepedia I saw Gilramos Libkath in Attack Of The Clones and so I put it in the appearenses on this subject because it wasn't on there. and the next day I was banned for ever! it said I vandalized when I only was trying to help I didn't know how things worked I was new and anyway you dont have to ban me for ever! it's not like it was false information. So Im just saying you should put that on because he WAS in Episode II he was just in different colour clothes. (you dont have to ban me for saying this, if you dont like it erase it. no need to be mean) —Unsigned comment by Dr.Vari-Lippert (talk • contribs).

Gilramos' skin?
Edit
In Boba Fett: Hunted, Gilramos is described as having sickly white skin while on Tatooine despite the fact he is depicted on the cover art with his normal green skin. The only thing I can think of is maybe this is the result of too much exposure to Tatooine's twin suns. Any thoughts? - Kooshmeister
- It seems fairly pale in the article's images, at least moreso than Gunray or other 'Moids - Kwenn 08:38, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- He seems fairly green in the actual film (I watched it just last night). I hope soon there's an EU story about him that takes place between Attack of the Clones and Hunted, because not only would I like to know what happened to make him so pale, but I'd also like to know precisely why he left the Trade Federation. - Kooshmeister
- I thought he was still working for the CIS as of Hunted... Anyway, he's green on the cover of Hunted, which makes me think that the way he is descibed could be an error on the author's part. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Well the book describes him as having battle droids and says he sells the weapons he steals to the Separatists. Would the Separatists really be so desperate for weapons they'd need to acquire them secondhand like this? He also has his headquarters in a derelict Theed cruiser of all things. And there's talk of him being exiled from Neimoidia, too. So my theory is that for whatever reasons, he left the Confederacy and took some battle droids with him, and continued to support their war effort from his exile on Tatooine, although what those reasons were remains unknown. - Kooshmeister
- Just because all that happened doesn't mean he left the Trade Federation, though. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I'll buy that. I guess, then, he must have done something to be given such a crummy assignment on Tatooine. -Kooshmeister
- Who knows. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

The Holocron
Edit
As much as it pains me to say this, it seems that, against all evidence to the contrary, the official LFL Holocron explanation from Leland Chee is that Rune Haako is in fact the Neimoidian seen with Nute on Geonosis after all. However, since he appears in Boba Fett: Hunted and is mentioned in the Visual Dictionary, Gilramos remains a separate character in his own right. Any thoughts before I start the bothersome task of splitting the info in Gilramos' bio and amending all referances to him being in AOTC? - Kooshmeister
- You have to be kidding me. It does seem reasonable, though. And considering Rune's face seems to have changed between Episodes I and III, I guess they could be the same after all. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Yeah, I know, it's stupid. Rune actually looks the same in ROTS as he did in The Phantom Menace, and I can only hope that eventually the LFL people will one day amend this decision and quit trying to pretend not to notice the glaring difference in both appearance in voice. But for now I'll go along with their decision, grumbling all the way, and at least Gilramos remains a separate character.... who just happens to look similar to and dress exactly like AOTC Rune. - Kooshmeister
- Acutally, Rune's face in Episode III is different from his Episode I face, I believe. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Well, you be the judge: photo bucket dot com )/albums/v609/Kooshmeister/haako_comparisons.jpg The only real difference in his ROTS appearance is he lacks the cleft chin; otherwise the facial structure is basically the same. - Kooshmeister
- That's the thing—I never saw the images side by side. And could you possibly get the "Rune Haako" from Episode II in the middle? We might be able to use that in the Behind the scenes section. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Thank you. Who knows, maybe Rune went in the Neimoidian protection program and got plastic surgery, but later had it removed during the Clone Wars... ;) Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- He could have just become obese between TPM and AotC then became thin again in the stress of the Clone Wars. I noticed that the Databank still only has him being in TPM and RotS.--Darth OblivionComlink

- Hmm... Perhaps Haako really isn't in AotC. Then this situation can be fixed. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I think that due to legal reasons, Haako had to disguise himself. If Libkath was the trade federation senator, it wouldn't be a bad disguise. I'm sure that Lott Dod was gone after the Battle of Naboo.--JVBizzle 01:11, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
