Move to Glove of Darth Vader? -Jaymach Ral'Tir 21:57, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed. VT-16 22:24, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Indestrucability questionable
Edit
When Han fired on Vader in ESB, I have to believe that the Force, not the glove, was responsable for the shot vanishing. The book in which the glove becomes indestructable was rather porely written. Will (talk -- contribs) 21:36, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- But it has been referenced in other sources, making it canon - Kwenn 21:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
That does mean that all books, like the Rise of the Empire era books, should treat it as fact. That was my point. Will (talk -- contribs) 04:24, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Vader's Suit
Edit
Since this is part of Vader's suit, I tihnk this article should be merged with the Darth Vader's Armor article.Pizza the Hutt 20:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
I'd say that since this is clearly insufferable stupid nonsense, it should be deleted outright and purged from everyone's memory by forced brainwashing from now until the end of time, while the author is beaten with various sticks until they repent of putting such nonsense to paper, and thrown into the nearest river to purify their spirit. But unfortunately, such pleasant fantasies are just that. Fantasies.Vymer 11:06, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Per the precedent of Shatterpoint and Darksaber, I think the main in-universe article should be at this name. -LtNOWIS 08:48, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, there's only two articles on this disambiguation page anyways. Nothing a {{youmay}} can't fix. Jasca Ducato Sith Council Sith Campaign 08:52, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Fake?
Edit
Does it say in the sources that the Glove of Vader specifically went through a wormhole? Otherwise, I find it perfectly believable that the original glove was blasted, so they just gimmicked up a fake and dropped it on Dac to confuse some people. Not like Vader would be around to authenticate the thing. Oh well, just fan speculation for a rather silly plot device.--LightWarden 07:03, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- Dunno. Regardless, it's just a glove. It has no special powers - they simply modified it. QuentinGeorge 07:04, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
What the crap?
Edit
Caught on a piece of wreckage and ported through a wormhole. What the HELL? Jachra 03:39, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think this and everything else from a Scholastic book should not be accepted as canon. But, unfortunately, it is, and so we must cover it. Savossk 14:51, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Huh?
Edit
How did Luke cut through it in RoTJ? 68.106.163.132 00:06, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Luke Cut through the Glove in ROTJ
Edit
Look closely at Vader's stump after Luke slashes his hand off - you can clearly see the remains of the glove pulled up over Vader's wrist; so, is the actual "hand" part the only piece of the glove that is truly indestructible? 64.180.93.200 19:59, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Glah Ubooki
Edit
it says on the article that " although Bimm merchant Glah Ubooki would later claim he had recovered it.", this isn't necessarily true, all he said was that he had "A glove worn by Lord Vader himself", this could easily have been Vader's other glove, as he did have two hands, or a fake. Kaan?
Edit
What Source lists Kaan's Amulet being part of the Glove?
