Grievous Past?
Edit
Does anyone else (now this is purely speculation at this point) believe that the reason that Grievous was attached to Gor was because the beast had been his mount or 'pet' back when he was a Kaleesh commander? And that the creature perhaps underwent some cybernetic enhancements when Grevious himself did (or shortly thereafter).

- Really? I just liked the added backstory on Grievous that hadn't been presented before. Because, in my opinion, if there was ever a major Star Wars film character who needed a history behind his/her character it was Grievous.

Gor was Grievous's pet in my Star wars the clone wars character encyclopedia. Grievous loved his pet Gor so much that he gave him some improvements, that is why he was unhappy to see Gor dead.--Killosaurs 05:20, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Meaning of the name?
Edit
Since so many names seem to have meanings, what about Gor? Aside from the obvious, I recently read that gora is Slavic for "mountain". Made me think of this guy. Given the inspiration behind Grievous's accent and the various bits of Kaleesh language that have been created, could there be a connection? 97.104.210.67 03:51, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- No source draws any connections, and trying to add anything would be speculation. CC7567 (talk) 04:09, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- By the way, it's góra in Polish, and when you pronounce this word, it sounds like goora (similar to good). Sorry, but this is just not this word. ShaakTi1138 12:23, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
