Temporary freeze?
Edit
Are we going to have to put a temporary freeze on editing on this page until the homophobes give up trying to change recently-published history? Chrisstansfield 23:51, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thus far, it has only been one anon that has a problem with it. However, considering the whole Zekk fiasco, I wouldn't be surprised. Lets give it a couple of days and see what happens. -- SFH 01:01, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Wheres the info come from?
Edit
I dont want to stir up anything, im just wondering where the info came from. Ive read both Bloodlines and sacrafice and dont remember mention of the two being married —Unsigned comment by 24.110.90.249 (talk • contribs).
- It's a connect-the-dots sort of thing. In Bloodlines and Practical Man, Goran's "spouse" is named as Medrit, with no sex given. In Sacrifice we meet Medrit, who turns out to be a large bearded man. Unless you read the stories near to one another it's entirely possible to miss the significance (as, frankly, I did when I first read Sacrifice.) Hope that helps. I had a short convo with Karen Traviss who confirmed this for me. She told me basically that Mandalorians don’t care about gender, race, lineage, or sexual preference.
I haven’t read "A Practical Man" but the mentions in Sacrifice where slight things like mentioning the "Beviin-Vasur Farm" and Medrit not arguing Goran adopting a new member into their family. Like you said its connect the dot stuff. —Unsigned comment by Dose Ordo (talk • contribs).
- Should that be mentioned in the article? —Unsigned comment by 65.5.183.85 (talk • contribs).
Any pictures?
Edit
So we dont have any pictures of him on his page? Also is his story done? Will he play any more roles as mandalore? —Unsigned comment by Trewqp (talk • contribs).
- No, there's been no pics or artwork of what he looks like, so we have none for the page yet. — Sadriel Fett

What source states that Goran Beviin succeeded Fett as Mand'alor?
- None. But the article never says he does, only that he was interim Mandalore while Fett was away, never the outright Mandalore. IFYLOFD (Come with me if you want to live.) 21:41, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Openly gay?
Edit
Um, maybe they were just roommates. Just suggesting. The books didn't suggest anything about his being gay.—B-Boba Fett! He'll kill us all!

- They're married. Two heterosexual men rarely get married and raise children. QuentinGeorge 21:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't particuarly see the problem with him being gay. It actually makes Star Wars more realistic, and that the world, or the galaxy, isn't black and white.--DK743 01:46, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

Edit
In The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia it is stated that Beviin did marry Vasur. I don't know how to put it into the article, though. Can somebody do it? (PS, I'm not lazy, I am just not that good at editing wikis) Zakor1138 03:28, December 27, 2009 (UTC)
First Example?
Edit
The article states that Beviin and Medrit are the first openly same sex couple in Star Wars. This information isn't sourced, but it's also my understanding that Juhanni in KotOR was openly homosexual. I'll edit this to "one of the first homosexual couples in Star Wars" in a little while unless anybody has any objections.—Unsigned comment by TheDeceiver (talk • contribs).
