Gorax
  • Why don't these work? The current image also looks quite dark. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:46, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Agreed. Unless you enlarge it, it just looks like a dark blob. jSarek 05:53, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • OK, I'll enlarge it. As I said in the edit summary, a live-action image (if one can be obtained) is always best. Adamwankenobi 05:55, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Still too dark. Try lightening it up. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:59, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Though I usually agree on this point, I don't this time. This pic that looks like a black blob on black paper viewed at night. Unless a better one can be obtained (and I'm sure it can be), we should probably go with the comic image. jSarek 06:00, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • Ok, I overwrote the file with a brighter version, but how come that doesn't update? -- Riffsyphon1024 06:05, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Nevermind. Got it to work now. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:07, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Good. I would have uploaded a better version myself, but it's difficult to make a non-dark screencap from most DVD's because the images tend to go dark once when you save them. Thanks for the re-upload. Where did you find that brighter version, by the way? Adamwankenobi 06:57, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)
        • Didn't have to look. I have a photo program that can apply a brightness and saturation to it. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:03, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Vote for pic[]

  • I STRONGLY believe the full-body nice scan should be the main image instead of the crappy live-action one.

  2. If the article were longer, I'd support putting 1 and 2 in. — Silly Dan 22:02, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  3. Film shot is always better, though is the same image than Databank's... --Thinortolan 22:34, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Other[]

If we can expand the article large enough, I would support all three, with the live action one in the infobox. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:46, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Comment. I agree, the article needs to be expanded. Adamwankenobi 13:00, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • I also agree, but if we are to have a live-action pic, let at least not be this crappy one. At least no pixels... --Master Starkeiller 13:35, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Where in the film do you suggest we get a pic from? Adamwankenobi 15:33, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • We aren't going to find anything as good as the comic scan, but we could get any pic that doesn't have huge pixels. --Master Starkeiller 15:36, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
        • It didn't until Riff brightened the picture. Adamwankenobi 15:39, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
          • So it's either very dark or total crap, eh? The Databank has the same one, a bit smaller, without the giant pixels. Still, the comic one is much better. --Master Starkeiller 15:48, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)
            • Let's expand the article so we can have both. :) Adamwankenobi 16:04, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)

not native to Endor[]

GORW made it clear only 3 races were native to Endor: Ewoks, Duloks, Yuzzum; the rest are introduced populations.JustinGann 13:39, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I imagine that only applied to fully sentient races, not semi-sentient races like the Gorax. jSarek 02:19, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Separate article for the individual Gorax?[]

Gorax actor[]

According to Eric Walker, the actor was Jon Berg. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087225/board/nest/108118958?d=108288276&p=1#108288276 66.212.78.221
