What source places the Great Droid Revolution as the first conflict in the Old Sith Wars? ~ Jaywin

  • Seriously, where is it stated that this war is part of the Old Sith Wars? It had nothing to do with the Sith. Kaje 19:41, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Agreed. Where is the rationale for this? --Dasein45

Timeline[]

How could it be in 4015 BBY? The Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide clearly states it happened during the Great Sith War. I'm removing the year right away, further discussion is welcomed. Mauser 11:32, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

  • As far as I know it was always part of Arca Jeth's backstory PRIOR to his first appearance in Tales of the Jedi: Knights of the Old Republic. So it couldn't be during the Great Sith War. jSarek 11:41, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
    • Hmm, then the line "a droid uprising on Coruscant during the Great Sith War" must be interpreted as an error? I'm not very good with TOTJ info (I'm rather KOTOR fan), maybe you can explain the discrepancies in BTS then? Mauser 11:45, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
      • I'm not KOTOR expert myself, and my TotJ omnibuses are leant to a friend, but it was first established as part of Jeth's backstory, and he died before the Great Sith War even truly started. jSarek 11:49, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
        • Oh, we've got this bit from the Juggernaut war droid's entry in The New Essential Guide to Droids: "Following the successful resolution of the Gank Massacres, juggernaut war droids became a familiar part of Coruscant's home guard. When the assassin droid HK-01 triggered the Great Droid Revolution in 4015 B.B.Y., shocked citizens witnessed juggernauts turn on the city." jSarek 11:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
          • Funny. The aforementioned quote from Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide is from Juggernaut war droid's entry as well: "Many of these droids are retired after taking part in a droid uprising on Coruscant during the Great Sith War, having been reprogrammed by the original HK-01 assassin-droid prototype."
