Talk:Great ReSynchronization
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
"Great ReSynchronization" in the article. Should it be here too? --SparqMan 18:34, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Date
- If this occured in 9 BBY then nothing makes sense now. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:47, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Is there a reason why it's ReSynchronization instead of Resynchronization?
[edit] Format
If I'm not mistaken, the date format is [year]:[month]:[day]. I'm adding it as that, but if I am incorrect please feel free to correct me.

OK, BrS is used for Before ReSynchonization dates. What about after ReSynchonization? ArS?? -Fnlayson 05:30, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- No, the letters are only used for dates before the ReSynchronization. Anything after is just numbers. -- Ozzel 05:37, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. So by default just numbers used in dating context mean GrS dates. Others dating systems use acronymns with the numbers, e.g. BBY/ABY. Might be a good idea to link to GrS like ([[Great ReSynchronization|45]]) to help people out. -Fnlayson 06:01, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] And in the Empire?
Didn't the Empire have another system, too? I read in some books that the Imperial Year 0 is 19BBY (Establishment of the Empire) and that this continues like that, even in New Republic.
- I know that was shown in Dark Force Rising.Thanos6 05:48, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Capitalized S?
Since when is a "re-" prefix followed by a capitalized letter? - TopAce 16:04, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Year 0
Realistically, I don't think there'd be a year zero. You start counting with the number, not with zero (unless you're a computer science major, I guess). After all, there's no 0 CE or AD. SWUAlpha 08:16, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well check out the The New Essential Chronology sometime in a book store or somewhere and see that events happen in year 0 BBY and 0 ABY. -Fnlayson 21:00, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
