Star Wars Republic 64: Bloodlines i cannot find him in it —Unsigned comment by 68.41.227.134 (talk • contribs).
- Look at the opening shot, where Palpatine is addressing Senate, behind Palpatine's podium you can see Grebleips in his box--that distinctive ET profile!JustinGann 01:34, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Note that at the time E.T. the Extraterrestrial was written and filmed, the Andromeda Galaxy was believed to be 2.9 million LY away, not 2.5 million LY; that figure was not determined until 2005 -- see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andromeda_galaxy. That makes it a lot more likely that the galaxy the expedition was sent to was, in fact, the Milky Way, and that the Star Wars Galaxy is the Andromeda Galaxy.
Earth -> Star Wars dates
Edit
If in 22 BBY (according to HoloNet website) is the date that Grebleips set off, wouldn't that mean that 22 BBY is in the 1980's?--Darthtyler (talk) (HSM RKY) 00:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- We don't know how long it took the expedition too reach Earth. So we can't speculate on dates. {{SUBST:User:Jasca Ducato/Sig}} 22:08, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Grebleips is a male?
Edit
If Grebleips' sex is male, then why is the character "E.T." said to be neither male nor female, but rather more like a plant? This is according to the original character description in the story of "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial."
- There are a couple possibilities. (1) Hutts are said to be hermaphrodites, technically, but they have a gender in regards to their personality. So Grebleips might not be a male physiologically, but have a male personality. Or (2) the way we on Earth understand gender might not match the xenological knowledge of the Star Wars galaxy. So while we would identify Grebleips to be genderless, there might be a facet of his physiology making him male as known to xenologists within the Star Wars Galaxy.
