Talk:Grond (Imperial)
Back to page
To any fellow Lord of the Rings fans...
Edit
If any of you read or have seen Return of the King, you may know that Grond was the name of the giant battering ram the Orcs used to breach Minas Tirith. Does anyone else suspect that the CCG creators have been doing a little bit of *ahem* research? -Darth Cynic
- As well as the great mace wielded by the Dark Lord Morgoth in the First Age. Either way I'm not sure exactly what you are implying.--Darth OblivionComlink

- Decipher, the CCG makers, did alot of "naming" that... used outside names and such. Many of the Decipher employees had cards named after themselves in which their names were just changed around or such. CBenoit 12:17, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Does he shout "Bring those two down here?"
Edit
so when C3P0 and R2 attract the attention of the stormtroopers and Sergeant Tarl and five more stormtroopers who go up the hill trying to capture them, does Grond shout, "Bring those two down here," or is that another commander? According to the Force.net in their Return of the Jedi line by line game, Grond is identified as shouting that line, however in one of Sompeetalay's blogs of unidentified characters throughout the movies, one of the unidentified characters is the officer who shouts that line. Is that Grond, or is it a different officer? 71.232.225.38 21:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Grond doesn't appear at all on Endor. He's one of the Officers on board on the Death Star II when Vader arrives. This is just another example of Decipher's magic tricks when changing the picture's background. --Sompeetalay 18:40, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

- However is Sergeant Tarl the stormtrooper who shouted at the captured rebels to move it and the one who led the group that tried to capture R2 and C3PO when the Ewoks attacked them, or is that a different trooper? Again this information was from the ROTJ line by line game which also mistakenly identified Grond as the "Bunker Commander" (what the script calls that officer). 71.232.225.38 01:21, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
