Description
Edit
A simple google search turned up two conflicting descriptions for gundarks. One is a long pink anteater style beast with a sticky tonge, and the other is a raging humanoid with four arms. See here (pink beast), and here (four arms). Based on the fact that the second link is on the official WotC site, I'm guessing the four armed creature is the correct description? I started the article with that just so we have something down. If anyone disagrees, feel free to post here! --Culix 05:50, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- EGAS (Essential Guide to Alien Species) shows a vicious four-armed beast. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:01, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Can someone scan in the EGAS pic? It looks pretty different from the one here.--Erl 21:12, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- Also, the anteater is from the Droids series. It is also called a Gundark. EGAS has a nice retcon for it, which I can't quite remember. A second page should be created--Erl 21:12, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Nest of Gundarks?
Edit
In the beginning of Attack of the Clones, Obi-Wan makes reference to himself and Anakin falling "into a nest of Gundarks." Is it known if gundarks even HAD nests? Or even where/when this event took place? Nothing too important, really, but I haven't seen any reference to Gundarks and their "nests" besides that one time. Though it is possible the term "nest" was a generalization on Kenobi's part.--Knightfall 00:43, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- It takes place in the Jedi Quest series. QuentinGeorge 00:52, 27 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Disambiguation
Edit
Is there a place for disambiguation between the official gundark and the pink, slimy gundark mentioned here (pink beast) ? Cutch 03:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- I created a page for the other gundark shown in the Marvel comic series here. How do we want to handle the disambiguation of gundark? Should we leave this one here and create a gundark (disambiguation) page, or move this article to something like gundark (biped)?--Rudy 03:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Screencap?
Edit
Could someone post one from the Dooku Captured promo? 71.231.130.121 08:33, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
First app
Edit
I notice that the Gundark's first appearance is said to be Galactic Battlegrounds, however, Super Empire Strikes Back (SNES) (c. 1992) had Gundarks on the Dagobah levels. They were named in the game's instruction manual, and resemble closely the creatures later seen in other sources. Misterrpm 04:57, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Appearances
Edit
Gundarks also appeared in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns(PC) as NPC enemies, but Battlegrounds is not listed in the Gundark's "appearances" section. I know because I've played Battlegrounds a lot. I'm not yet a member of Wookiepedia, but I wanted to help out.
When Han says that Luke looks strong enough to pull the ears off a Gundark, has anybody actually done that or is that just a figure of speech?--6rosalina 08:19, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
