Shatterpoint
Edit
Wasn't the Halleck the ship from Shatterpoint? Tam 21:32, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, it is. I believe that the name is a reference to Gurney Halleck from Frank Herbert's "Dune" novels. NBRBH 16:51, 28 Apr 2006 (UK)
- Re-created the page with info from the CUSWE. An expansion with info directly from Shatterpoint would be appreciated - Kwenn 15:59, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
A little more info
Edit
Perhaps the Halleck is an earlier Kuati design upon which Rothanna based the Acclimator. It is described as a wedge-shaped ship, but Shatterpoint/Equipment makes it clear it's not an Acclimator, as it only holds 1,000 clone troopers and gear, as opposed to 16,000. Also the total number of LAAT/is the Halleck carries seems to be inconsistent with the specs for the Acclimator.
As for the starfighters, I've always assumed(based on inferences from the novel and the short story)that the starfighters were either Z-95s or possibly even ARC-170s, though the Essential Chronology clearly shows either Delta-6s or -7s.
And, according to the novel, the Halleck's crew and the starfighter pilots were birth-born, with only the heavy-infantry regiment being clones. —Unsigned comment by William092568 (talk • contribs).
- None of the info in the BTS means it isn't an Acclamator, so there's no reason to think it isn't. And LACK of evidence does not mean clones canNOT fly Delta-7JustinGann 14:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
