What is the source for the Herglics being founding member of the Republic? I was under the impression that they only joined after encountering the Tapani roughly 13000 BBY.--I am Nerd 05:33, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- The source for them being founding members of the Republic is Ultimate Alien Anthology, though I'm more than willing to concede that UAA was wrong on that score. -- SFH 15:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
I would love for the Herglics to be Core Founders, but it just doesn't seem to mesh with their backstory. Regardless, Wookiepedia should be consistant and this is stated yes and no in different Herglic articles. How should we proceed?--I am Nerd 11:24, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Is it ever truly stated that this is the correct name for the species? I know only that it has been speculated on, but I have not seen the species formally identified as such.Darth Ceratis 22:51, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that Bar- and Ry-Kooda are Herglics, and I've heard some doubts that this species name is given in any of the sources. I don't own any of them myself. They do vaguely look like Herglics, especially Jahnar-Kooda, who I guess we can still assume is of the same species as the other two...--Darth Oblivion 21:56, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
