Keyan Farlander should be included
- Nope. --FireV 23:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Why not He's been in yavin and endor
- Because the term has a specific meaning for in-universe historians, referring specifically to Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, the Droids, and later Lando Calrissian - that is, the people who are, out of universe, the main characters of the Original Trilogy. Wedge isn't included, even though he flew and survived at Yavin; neither is Jan Dodonna, who created the strategy that allowed the Battle of Yavin to succeed. It's basically an in-universe tag for the group of characters who got top billing in the first three movies. jSarek 00:05, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
It is confusing, and I am by no means an authority. It surprised me as well, that Darklighter and Antilles weren't included in the list, particularly after following the link from Biggs' page described as such: "Biggs Darklighter would go down in lore as one of the Heroes of Yavin." (the later, capitalized part constituting the link to this current page). Also, in Book 1 of X-Wing: Rogue Squadron the phrase is mentioned in the first 65 pages (somewhere...sorry!) in reference to Biggs and Wedge, and others. That reference is actually why I clicked on the link in the first place--I "heard" someone say it in the book and thought I'd check here to find a full list of members.
So, to sum it up, I'm not refuting the information here, I am just stating the the phrase can easily cause confusion as it seems to be used more freely than what is indicated here.
Have a good one, everybody.
- Basically, this means it's just another term for the main characters in the original trilogy. Kind of funny, actually. Xanofar 09:04, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I think this should be explained in the Behind the scenes section. --The Great and Grand Count Mall!(Bow down before me!) 01:34, February 20, 2011 (UTC)
