Jacen and Tenel Ka?Edit

Whooooooooah...wait on, when did Jacen and Tenel Ka have a kid? Dark Nest II? QuentinGeorge 02:08, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Wait, reading the spoiler threads on TFN, I see this is accurate. Gee, talk about dysfunctional families... QuentinGeorge 02:11, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
  • I wouldn't make something like that up. lol. StarNeptune 02:13, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC) 02:13, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
  • I also read about the kid on NJOencyclopedia.com, and that Ta'a Chume takes acception to that...Five credits (Galactic Alliance, of course) says they name her Padme. -- SFH 02:45, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • Ummm... turns out that her name isn't Padme after all. Divinity 10:10, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • The name has been revealed in the spoiler forums. And no, it's not Padme. And yes, it is original - Kwenn
        • Yes, I know that already. Divinity 10:16, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • I think Kween was informing other's who didn't. As for me, I'm eating some major crow right now (takes a bite)...mm, this isn't that bad. -- SFH 17:37, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)

End of the Line?Edit

The naming convention for humans in the galaxy seems to be that the wife uses both her maiden name and her husband's name, and that the children are given only the husband's (Mara Jade Skywalker and Ben Skywalkerm, Leia Organa Solo and Jacen/Jaina/Anakin Solo, etc). So since there are no more male descendants, should we add something to the affect that the Solo name will die out? Not the bloodline, but the name? I'll put something in the BtS section for now. --Revan Averre 01:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

  • This does, of course, not apply in cases of men without a family name (Zekk, Alek), in cases where the father is unknown (Anakin Skywalker) or when they feel like it (Trackan Sal-Solo). So even though is would seem like Jaina is the only heir left with the Solo name we can't presume anything. Charlii 09:04, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Can we add Tahiri? Edit

Can we put a thinner line connecting Anakin and Tahiri?

  • Ummm... no. Cause they are only just a couple, and they are not even married. Plus, their relationship only lasted for a short time since Anakin died in the end. Unless if they - like Jacen and Tenel Ka - had a kid, then adding a line to that is necessary. Divinity 10:37, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I suppose it's posible that Tenel Ka's delayed pregnancy is forshadowing to Tahiri's decade long pregnancy that she would need in order to be on this page. But since no such pregnancy is known to have existed, Tahiri will have to sit outside the tree...

Really royal? Edit

I thought it had been written than Han Solo's royal ascendence was false, coming fron one of his ancestor who usurpated Corellia's throne and was hanged. There was a good deal of "sucessful thieves in some branches of the family" says Garris Shrike in The Paradise Snare, and he adds "but this Solo?". By the way, is it possible to include Chewbacca and Dewlanna in the Solo family? They are linked, in a way. Unsigned comment by 82.124.38.60 (talk • contribs).

  • I agree (with the first bit). At the end of "The Courtship of Prinicess Leia" Threepio says "Korol Solo was only a pretender to the throne - and got hanged for his crimes", so Han's probably not related to Berethon e Solo. If no one objects I'll put a little note next to Berethon on the timeline. SolaBeat 12:45, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
    • Being a "pretender" to the throne doesn't mean you aren't of actual royal descent. In many cases, it necessitates it. For example, this guy and this one. QuentinGeorge 12:54, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Good point, well made. Looks like those history lessons finally paid off. SolaBeat 15:12, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Perhaps we should add a note clearing that up when Korol Solo's article is created...? —Mirlen 22:09, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

In the "Courtship of Princess Leia", we learn the origin of the name Suul. Han's great-grandfather was Korol Solo, a man who pretended to be the king of Corellia. His oldest son changed his last name to Suul to protect his identity during the Clone Wars. The first son of Korol was now Dalla Suul. His oldest son was named Jonash Suul, and his oldest son was Han Suul - but then George Lucas wrote A New Hope, and decided to change his name back to Solo. Korol Solo was hanged for being a pretender, and Dalla Suul became a kidnapper, pirate and a murderer (Dalla the Black), one of the most notorious kingpins in organized crime, according to Threkin Horm. He should know, being the son of Dalla's illegitimate daughter.

Han's Grandfather Edit

It seems that Han has two grandfathers, or more specifically Jonash Solo has two fathers - Dalla Solo and Denn Solo. In The Courtship of Princess Leia, Threepio says that Dalla's firstborn son was Jonash and his firstborn was Han. However, in The Paradise Snare, Thrackan says that his grandfather, Denn Solo, had a son who was probably Han's father. So am I missing something or what?

I can think of two possible reasons for this confusion. One is that Denn and Dalla are the same person as, in The Courtship of Princess Leia, Threepio says Dalla Solo changed his name to Dalla Suul and so perhaps he changed his first name as well. The second is that also in the Courtship it mentions that Han had tampered with the records on Corellia (where Threepio got his information from) so perhaps that makes all the information on Dalla unreliable. SolaBeat 11:42, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Why does different people try to put Dalla and Denn as two different persons with "several generations" between them? Is there any source for this? Charlii 20:41, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Another clone?Edit

In the Skywalker family tree Luke has a clone named Luuke! Right!

And Anakin Solo has a clone to named Anakin Sal-Solo, so can we add him to the family tree?

  • It is not a clone of Anakin Solo but a droid who thinks that he is Anakin Solo. Oyam5000 12:54, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Danielle Kieran Edit

Just cause she belives herself to be han solo's daugter don't mean she is. this is not canon and I think it should be removed RC-1136 11:24, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

  • It's one of those unlicensed sources with questionable canonicity (opinions on these vary on Wookieepedia from "possibly canon" to "definitely non-canon", depending on the editor and the source.) Combined with the ambiguous status of her parentage IU, though, I think you're right about removing her from the family tree. —Silly Dan (talk) 11:45, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
    • thanks for removing that, I always feel so gulity when I do these things myself ;D. RC-1136 12:26, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Name Edit

Why the name of this page is House of Solo not Solo Family?(ZOCOM 9 07:40, 1 October 2008 (UTC))

Because the Solo family was apparently of noble or royal background. They were originally the kings and queens of Corellia.--DarthKenny 04:56, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Heirs of Alderaan Edit

Are not the heirs of Princess Leia in the senior line also heirs to the Crown and Throne of Alderaan? That is, over New Alderaan and old Alderaan? Conversly, as the Organa family and the Solo family were equal for marriage purposes, would not the family be hyphonated to Solo-Organa in the traditional dynastic sense?Drachenfyre 07:17, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Since no-one ever claimed that throne, doesn't the question become hypothetical? Charlii 07:43, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Infobox Edit

The infobox covers half of the family tree, can that be avoided somehow? Charlii 00:09, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Could Roan and Marasiah Fel be part of the House of Solo? Edit

It looks more and more as if Jaina does wind up with Jagged Fel and that Roan is her grandson and Marasiah is her great-granddaughter. If it is indeed the case, could they be considered members of the House of Solo as well?--DarthKenny 04:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

  • We gotta wait until a source proves that's the case before anything is done. Steves490 05:00, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
    • I know, but if they are indeed descended from Jaina, would they be considered part of the HoS?--DarthKenny 05:10, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
      • Well I'm not the authority on this but I think it would be like
                                              see (Fel Dynasty)
                                                       |
                                       Jaina Solo-+-Jagged Fel
                                                  |
                                               Fel II

Or maybye they will go right down to Roan Fel, but we won't know till it happens. Steves490 05:43, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Well, even though Leia is part of both the Skywalker family and the House of Organa, she's also part of the House of Solo through marriage. Also, Allana is considered part of the House of Solo even though her parents never married. All I really want to know is if Roan and Sia are indeed Jaina's grandson and great granddaughter could they be considered part of the House of Solo, yes or no.--DarthKenny 22:42, January 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • Jaina's engaged to Fel, it's only a matter of time. Steves490
    • In Omen Jag asks Jaina to marry him. I don't have the book but I doubt she wouldn't say yes. User:Scrayer
