Talk:I-7 Howlrunner
Back to page
If it was this bad, with weak lasers, low speed, pathetic targeting etc, then why in Chaos did Palpatine give it to his ultimate elite corps? It just doesn't make sense. Evir Daal 07:58, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- For an Empire that used mass-produced TIE fighters, the I-7 is just following that. They probably weren't intended to be used for his Dark Side Adepts originally. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Perhaps. But it certainly doesn't paint the Dark Empire in a favourable light... Evir Daal 12:28, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- The I-7 barely even appears. How can that ruin the comic? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I meant Palpatine's new, reborn "Dark Empire" as an IU concept. Commander Daal

- Let's not forget that the Dark Side Elite did have the advantage of the Force. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

NPOV flag
Edit
I flagged this with the NPOV because of the repeated use of extreme disparaging characterizations of the I-7's weapons and targeting computer. Yes source material makes mention of the poor performance of the fighter's weapon systems, but I think the article in its current form goes overboard in emphasizing this above and beyond how it's represented in the source material. Also the use of "woefully outpaced" in describing its speed in comparison to the E-wing. The reason I flagged it is because the article in its current form just seems like it was written by someone who really hates the I-7 and wrote it in a way so that other people would come to the same conclusion. (see above section) It just seems like this could be rewritten in a less biased manner. Xavic Kae 18:55, December 25, 2009 (UTC)
Scale
Edit
This craft is supposed to be super tiny but it's length is only 3 feet less than the X-Wing, and the scale in that picture with a guy standing in the cockpit is way off. Pretty weak. 64.47.148.150 18:33, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
