Talk:I have a bad feeling about this
Back to page
I really don't think this should be in the Star Wars Universe Category. It's not about something that people in the Star Wars universe know about. It's about the fact that many real-world entities, including the films, some games, and some books, have this phrase. If nobody responds in a day or so, I'm changing the category.-LtNOWIS 18:04, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

Spanish
Edit
Could someone provide translations for the Spanish versions? As written, the article seems to assume the reader knows Spanish. I, for one, do not (I am neither American nor in a country with a lot of Spanish-speakers), and so the significance of that bit is lost on me. 24.79.85.41 06:01, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Origins
Edit
So did this Quote orignate from Star Wars?—Unsigned comment by 170.91.5.4 (talk • contribs).
- I had always thought that this was part of Star Wars exclusively: Lucas didn't begin to work on Raiders of the Lost Ark with Spielberg until vacationing in Hawaii in 1979 at the earliest.Tocneppil 09:48, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Me too. The phrase appears before the first Indiana Jones, so I find all this Indiana paragraph very weird. Except that, Indiana is never a loner, he has companions in all three films, not only the latter 2. I propose we get rid of it. MoffRebus 19:45, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ok I decided to remove it... here it is for the sake of reference
The sentence was originally intended for the Indiana Jones series. However, it was later decided that Indiana would be more of a loner and he would have nobody to hear him saying such a sentence, and the sentence was re-used in the Star Wars series. Notice that the second and third installments of the Indiana Jones series provide Indy with some partners (Short Round, Dr. Henry Jones Sr.) to whom he could have said this sentence, but this was not known until the second movie was written. Spoken
Edit
The A in the "bad," when spoken, is extended, as "I have a baad feeling about this" - This sentence seems like OR to me. Plus, it's making it sound like it's always true, which it isn't (Obi-wan in Phantom Menance). I'm not sure if it should be removed or tagged with {{Fact}}. Maybe somebody can properly reword it. - Esjs(Talk) 16:19, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Maybe...
Edit
Maybe we should have a list of characters who have NOT used the phrase! —Unsigned comment by Jacensolo148 (talk • contribs).
