Talk:Ian McDiarmid
Back to page
The Wikipedia page for Ian McDiarmid is much better than ours. We should just merge it into this one, and cite it here per GFDL. We did that for Ulic Qel-Droma. -LtNOWIS 03:38, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
It seems like we could do a lot more with this page. What about all his quotes? The one about Lucas telling him that his face was Palpatine's mask comes to mind. In the end, nobody understands a character like the actor who portrays him, esp someone like this.76.16.126.156 22:43, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Wow, someone else who's actually familiar with the mask quote. I've added three notable quotes from McDiarmid's interview from Star Wars Insider 82 if anyone wants to use them. I may add more later.--DarthLucas 20:16, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Human Character
Edit
It says Ian McDiarmid was one of only a few people to play a human character in both the original and the prequel triology. That implies there's at least one other person. Who else played a human character in both trilogies?
Two people were also in both trilogies. One was Ben Burtt the sound designer who was Ebenn Q3 Baobab in Phantom Menace and Dyer in Return of the Jedi. The second person is Jeremy Bulloch who played Jeremoch Colton in the Revenge of the Sith and Sheckil as well as Boba Fett somewhat in the Empire Strikes Back.
Mistake
Edit
Why does the article include Elite Squadron as one of the films he was in (second sentence at the top)? I don't think there is no reason whatsoever that it should be there, I think it is vandalism. I want to know that there is not a reason so could someone who agrees with me delete that and the star with it.
