[edit] Chiss space?
The NEC places Ilum very close to Csilla. Yet the Chiss hadn't met the Republic until 27 BBY. How's that, if the Jedi kept going their to get crystals, and the Chiss would probably expanded that far (as they had Niuran - yes, bad spelling - which the NEC map places closer to Republic borders. Food for thought - Skywalka 07:32, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- My suggestion is that the Chiss did discover it, but found nothing of worth...or perhaps do not value crystals. Then, when the Jedi found the place, they built the temple and all that, but the Chiss never knew, because they dismissed the place from the get-go. Just my thoughts. .... 09:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- That seems logical to me. —Unsigned comment by 64.235.77.3 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Galactic region
The infobox places Ilum in the Unknown Regions, but it's categorized in the Wild Space. Which one is right? --Zeist Antilles (consulta) 14:30, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Self Contradictory!
This article states both that the empire established a base specificly to intercept and eliminate jedi returning for lightsaber crystals; and that it was forgoten after the emperor's information purges and served as a safe haven for jedi afterwards. Which is it? —Unsigned comment by 64.235.77.3 (talk • contribs).
[edit] The Old Republic
On The Old Republic page, Ilum is listed as a location. But, it is not listed in the appearances section of this page! Etan O'Hara 12:56, 14 December
