So, is it HoloVision or Holovision? Edit
I realize, based off of Star Wars Insiders 84 and 87, that Dan Wallace has taken to spelling it Holovision with a lowercase V, but since the 1990s it's been spelled with a capital V, aka. HoloVision. See Galaxy Guide 9 (p. 81). I can also confirm the acronym of IHV as factual. See the Star Wars Adventure Journal 11 (p. 244) for just one example. I can concede that the most recent spelling of anything probably should be the standard, but shouldn't the weight of a decade of spelling it in a specific way count for something too? :) Erik Pflueger 12:46, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- First of all, it's now Holovision, not HoloVision, so please don't change it back. As for the IHV, my apologies; I didn't realize it was canon. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Worry not, Jack. I sure wanted to change it back, it's true, but I called it off and wrote the above instead. I wanted to hear what you had to say first. Also, I think we can agree, as I wrote, that the most recent spelling should probably be the accepted standard. If Dan should slip and use the capital V in the future, I'll call it open season, but if he's being consistent (not hard in only two uses so far) in using a lowercase V, I think we can justify following his lead.
