Padme Edit

Why is Padme listed has a senator in the Imperial Senate? She was a senator during the Empire for about 10 hours before she popped out Luke and Leia and died. I hardly think that grants her enough to be listed here. CptKenobi 21:41, 19 Nov 2005 (UTC)

The Senate at the end of Return of the Jedi? Edit

Would it still be the Imperial Senate or would it become the Galactic Senate again or be the New Republic Senate?

I listed in in the Galactic Senate Appearances, but I'm not sure if that's right.--Rune Haako 22:06, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

• The Senate is dissolved in ANH, and not reinstated until after the New Republic takes Coruscant some years after RotJ. Only the building appears in RotJ, not the organization - Kwenn 22:09, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Other purposes for the Senate 0 ABY to 4 ABY? Edit

I only am posting this question as a curiousity. The TIE Fighter game, made prior to the Star Wars prequels has a beginning cutscene where it shows the Emperor giving an address to the Emperor in a huge circular chamber with a tower in the centre with a throne ontop where he speaks from. It looks very similar to the Senate, except that the Senate seats have been removed and large sections connect to the central throne tower which have windows in them with people working there. This coincidence opens up the technical possibility that the Senate was converted to an address chamber to the galaxy. Again I am posting this out of curiousity,more likely though this is a section of the Imperial Palace where a chamber similar to the Senate was constructed.

• I wasn't sure about the location at first, but it seems to be an address chamber in Imperial Palace itself, not the Senate. It serves the same purpose as the Senate did in 19 BBY for Palpatine's New Order, as a "state to the Empire" chamber.

Merge with Galactic Senate Edit

This article seems too small to be an independent article. I believe that the Imperial Senate should be part of the Galactic Senate article.
