- Sorry, can't offer any assitance, but I do have a question, wouldn't Ysanne Isard be an example of an Imperial Intelligiance officer, and do we have some information that shows her uniform was drasticly different from other officers of II?--Eion 03:55, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
- I believe Kirtan Loor is shown to have a brown uniform in the X-Wing comics. Loor notes in X-Wing: Rogue Squadron during his first meeting with Ysanne, she was wearing a modified, red admiral's uniform: "She wore and admiral's uniform, complete with boots, jodhpurs, and a dress jacket, though the garments were red." (p. 122) So it's probably safe to say that his assessment of her uniform as an admiral's, and not an II uniform, indicates her red outfit was an exception. --SparqMan 04:05, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
- http://insd.swcombine.com/insd.htm this is all i can come up with
- Some information through the link above I would consider fanon.
I did find supporting information on the science officers wearing white uniforms in the Star Wars: Empire comic series. Deena Shan wears a white Imperial officer uniform in the comic series as shown here [[1]]. 'Alpha85

No difference between Ozzel and Veers uniform
Edit
I see no difference between Admiral Ozzel's basic uniform and that of General Veers. I know people would like to see differences between the Imperial Navy and Army, but this is a mistake based on the amount of light in the rooms. The ESB scenes with Ozzel are usually in the dimly light section's of the Executor's bridge, the scene with Veers in the Meditation Chamber are in a brightly lit environment. Also I would argue that the Ozzel-Piett-Tarkin-Veers type uniforms are of a more grey-olive green
imperial uniform help
Edit
In Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and also in the Jedi Outcast PC games (also the first Dark Forces PC game), there are imperial officers wearing sandy colored uniforms and hats. I saw on a star wars custom figure site that referred to them as Imperial base officers. Can anyone tell me or give me an idea on what they do and what type of officer they are, navy or army officers? here's a pic (link) ArcTrooper1138 05:35, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Imperial Army Unifrom color
Edit
It says Olive Green on the page, yet when I click on the link to the Imperial Army Trooper page, I see the uniform being described as "similar to that of the Imperial Navy troopers, but was grey instead of black". What color is it?
Army trooper armor color
Edit
From what i know the Imperial Army Trooper has green armor and not grey, well at least in heavy armor. If you look in the Shadows of the Empire game, the Storm Commandos as they call them in that game are pretty much the same and have green armor. ArcTrooper1138
Re: Imperial Army Uniform color
Edit
I would suspect the Imperial Army Trooper page may need revision. From the looks of the Imperial Army officer in both SW Battlefronts 1&2, dark olive green is the color, grey would have been for Army pilots.
Imperial Army uniform colour
Edit
I think that the juinor officers through to commander wore Olive drab, the Generals wore grey-white and the engineers and Army pilots wore grey, it pretty much shows you that in the Empire comics RC-1187 03:57, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Imperial Army Regular Ranks
Edit
So was grey the color for troopers (non engineers and pilots) below officer rank?

For expansion
Edit
Refer to Wikipedia's article on Imperial uniforms for images that we can use, however they will need to be cropped and reuploaded. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:12, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I would possibly do it but I can't make them into jpegs only bitmap images maybe because I do not have the software or I am missing something. ArcTrooper1138 05:11, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Grand Admiral
Edit
I noticed something. Almost all of the Grand Admirals have white uniforms. Has anyone else noticed that too? Jedi Wolf 2:50, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
- yeah they all have uniforms like that. ArcTrooper1138 05:11, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
But there is no reference on the page about that. Jedi Wolf 8:02, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Then I guess someone forgot to mention it in the article. Its pretty obvious anyways with all them wearing white uniforms from the images. Alpha1138 04:59, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, white uniforms with gold epaulets and no hats are standard attire for Grand Admirals, though the epaulets were apparently removable (viz. Thrawn), and they would occasionally wear the more standard uniform when they expected to get their hands dirty or not draw attention to their rank. jSarek 01:05, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- If Grand Admiral uniforms are indeed standard, would it be alright if I included it in the chart? Also what is the color for Grand General uniforms? PhantBat 15:21, February 11, 2010 (UTC)

Galleries
Edit
- From what I have seen in many books and websites, it makes a very high impact to have a gallery of all the different uniforms that are used. This could be used for other organizations too. A picture is wortha a thousand words... Smokey 19:13, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia's article deleted
Edit
It was just deleted on the 3rd of this month. Hope somebody got some of the pictures from it. Darth Vengen 04:19, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Tan Uniforms
Edit
Does anyone know who those imperial officers in tan uniforms are in the Jedi Knight series games, such as Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy? Are they security officers, base officers or some other type of officers?
Similar uniforms at the Magic of Myth exhibit in the Air and Space museum some years back in Washington DC. Image of that uniform here: ([2])

Tarkin's uniform
Edit
I swear that Tarkin wears some kind of white shirt under his tunic in ANH. Thoughts?--The All-knowing Sith'ari 18:21, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Red & blue rank badges
Edit
Has anyone ever attempted to decipher the system of red, blue, and gold squares? I seem to recall Admiral Daala's rank described as 6 red and 6 blue. But I suspect that the officers' badges are inconsistent within the films, and that a definitive listing of what badges correspond to what ranks isn't possible. Benkarnell 02:03, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
Color of the uniform
Edit
I think that imperial officer uniform color was actually Feldgrau.

Females
Edit
No mention is made about if the women wore altered uniforms, ie with skirts or a dress instead of the standard. However, I do not think they did, as the few canon images of the Imperial women tends to show them in fairly standard uniforms, with only one obvious alteration. Should we mention this anyway?
