ISD variant
Edit
Is it just a varinat of a Imperial-Star-Destroyer, I though it was a whole independet design, just in the usual star destroyer design. --Dark Scipio 14:43, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's probably a whole different class, but a source is needed. Admiral J. Nebulax 00:26, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- There are at least two different named examples of this type, and a few without names. I suspect this means it is its own separate class. But there is no source for it outside the comics and the comic handbooks, so we're fairly limited in what we can actually list as canon. —Darth Culator (talk) 00:40, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps the class name is "Interdictor-class Star Destroyer", like how "Imperial Star Destroyer" is technically "Imperial-class Star Destroyer". Admiral J. Nebulax 00:42, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- The Victory-class is also often referred to as Victory Star Destroyer. Hmm. Maybe just leave it for now? VT-16 12:19, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'd say leave it for now. Admiral J. Nebulax 12:34, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- What about: Immobilizer 418 cruiser. --Dark Scipio 15:49, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- That's Interdictor-class heavy cruiser. This one is different from the Immobilizer 418. Admiral J. Nebulax 15:54, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be called Interdictor-class. I think the current name isn't reminiscent of any class, but that it is a Star Destroyer that is an Interdictor YIIMM 16:45, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- We're not going to change the article title or anything. We're just saying that it might be a class name. Admiral J. Nebulax 17:07, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Vader's Quest
Edit
Does anybody know what type of ship Vader uses in the comic series Vader's Quest? It looks like an Interdictor Star Destroyer to me. —Unsigned comment by 195.8.166.186 (talk • contribs).
- Well, it's possible for it to be in there since it came out a few years after it's first appearance. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Black Asp
Edit
i entered black asp in the list of ships, if anybody wants to debate it well talk to somebody else. Ugluk 23:19, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Black Asp is an Immobilizer 418 cruiser, not an Interdictor Star Destroyer. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- All im saying is one of the two articles is wrong but which one? Ugluk 00:54, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- Neither one is. They are two separate types of ships. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Other equipment
Edit
What other equipment was onboard? In EaW there is a missile jamming function... TS-1138
- I don't think anyone knows. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Command tower
Edit
What's with the double command tower? —Unsigned comment by 138.88.80.65 (talk • contribs).
- That doesn't necessarily have to be another command tower. It could be used as a mount for weapons. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Name
Edit
Well, i have shiped over the X-Wing Omnibus, which include the Handbook. I cant find that this ship was namend Interdictor Star Destroyer. The name fits, but i cant find additional information of this ship. --Modgamers 21:01, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- The Rogue Squadron handbook mentions no "Interdictor Star Destroyer", but it does mention Loka Hask's ship at Mrlsst as being a Star Destroyer. I think that originally this was simply a case of artistic license that was made into a class of ship; consider the Binder, which is drawn in Mandatory Retirement as being a "Interdictor Star Destroyer", yet is referred in the comics as being an Interdictor Cruiser, and in Isard's Revenge Stackpole writes the Binder as being a Interdictor Cruiser (Immobilizer 418; she has quad laser cannons, smaller than the Reckoning, etc). It was only in WOTC's Starships of the Galaxy that the Interdictor Star Destroyer became canon.--TIEDefenderPilot 09:36, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- ok, can someone may scan in the page(es) for me? To ship SotG to germany would cost some 70 to 100 $, which is ofcourse i lil bit to much. --Modgamers 09:06, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- TIEDefenderPilot: Are you sure it doesn't mention "Interdictor Star Destroyer"? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
12:17, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- He doesn't need to be shure when iam shure, there is just "a star destroyer" mentiont... actually up to the comics of Omnibus 2 its not even clear that the Dominator is Hask's ship. --Modgamers 15:09, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- So the official name for it isn't Dominator- class? Is that just a fanon name for it? I thought that ship classes were always named after the first ship that was made of that type?--Hencho414 15:21, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- In the angloamerican language its true.. but the Dominator is just the first ship TO BE SEEN of this class.. this doesnt necessarily mean that this IS the first build ship of that type. --Modgamers 16:30, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- In addition, we don't know if that's how it works in the Star Wars Galaxy. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I'm 100 percent positive that the Handbook mentions Star Destroyer, but not "Interdictor Star Destroyer"--TIEDefenderPilot 00:39, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Projector globes
Edit
Why are the projector globes so large? The projector globes from an Interdictor cruiser could easily fit in an ISD-I's hull without being seen. —Unsigned comment by 151.200.25.105 (talk • contribs).
- Why does it matter? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Projector Globes
Edit
Maybe there wos an imperial-star destroyer with tiny globes inside its hull present at sum battles. This would explain why there weren't any Immobiliser-418s or Interdictors at Endor.
