[edit] Name
Where does Indictor-class come from? The Chronicles section on the KotOR II site, and the KotOR strategy guide calls it Interdictor-class - Kwenn
- Do you mean it's manufacturer? If so, the strategy guide says that it was Sienar Fleet Systems...a company which wouldn't exist for another four thousand years. -- SFH 15:31, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- No, he's talking about the name. It looks funny to me too. Like somebody was trying to type "Interdictor" but accidentally left out a few letters. JimRaynor55 15:39, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, the name. It's just been moved to this new page, and I wondered if we had a source for it - Kwenn
- Me too. Don't know about the strategy guide, but it's Interdictor-class in the chronicles. - Sikon [Talk] 17:00, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Hmm, I thought the Prima guide said Indictor, OPh well.
- Actually, SFS (although called Republic SS at the time) was around long before KOTOR; they built capital ships in 5000 BBY for E. Teta; so there's no reason it couldn't have made these.JustinGann 17:09, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- We should move this to Interdictor-class then. BTW, is it really called "Star Cruiser" in official sources? JimRaynor55 19:28, 27 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- The official guide calls it Interdictor-class Cruiser and a Hyperspace Interdiction Cruiser - Kwenn
- OK, thanks. I guess this page should be moved to "Interdictor-class Cruiser" then. JimRaynor55 21:53, 27 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I have a problem with the fact that it has the same capabilities of the Immobilizer Cruiser from the Imperial era. In Outbound Flight, it was clearly stated that neither the Republic nor anyone else in known space was able to break the scientific barriers and create such a ship or device (except the Vagaari who resided in the Unknown Regions). Therefore, I find it hard to believe that this ship was capable of such.--Kavin Rhysode 16:26, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Corellian shipyards
- If the Interdictor-class are built in the Corellian Shipyards, does that make them CEC ships? Or does it mean that Sienar are a Corellian company?
- As near as I can make out, it's only the Santhe family that comes from Lianna, though Republic Sienar Systems/Sienar Fleet Systems is implied to be based on Corulag in The Far Orbit Project. I kinda like the idea that TIEs are Corellian, though—and I guess that that would make the Immobilizer 418 and the Vindicator into "big Corellian ships". *grin* --McEwok 15:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
