[edit] Followed By: Unknown?
It makes it sound like there's more, but should that be there? I mean, we know Invincible is the end of the LotF Series, so why would it have that? Just wanted this to be cleared. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 17:59, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Because there will be something else that follows it in the overall continuity and chronology of the Star Wars EU, even though there is not a book following it in the series. Look at The Unifying Force. It's the last NJO book, but it is followed by Dark Nest I: The Joiner King in the chronology of the books. So it is currently unknown what follows Invincible. Wildyoda 18:02, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Is there a rule written somewhere that "Followed by" means in the sequence of text novels, as opposed to major stories in general? Otherwise it seems like you'd have to put Star Wars Legacy: Broken there. --68.44.13.236 05:46, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
I defonitly think that there will be somthing new after the LOTF series. well Sue Rostoni says that there working on somthing else, so maybe itll be another trilogy just like the Dark Nest Trilogy. —Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).
[edit] Who will be on the cover?
THEY ARE GOING TO PUT JAINA ON THE COVER !!! :)
I for one think that Jaina Solo will be on the cover because she hasnt been on one of them at all and shes The Sword Of The Jedi so that would make her invincible. —Unsigned comment by 68.218.101.131 (talk • contribs).
- Exactly, add to that the fact that it was Denning who gave her that title, so obviously he's not going to forget aboout it, and as Karen demonstrated with Bloodlines, the author has a heavy say in the character on the front, so it'll most probably be her. Or Alema Rar. *shudders* Aeods 14:02, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
But who else could it be besides Jaina and Alema Rar. Maybe it could also be Allana. That would be pretty cool. after all she is kinda half skywalker in a way on Jacens side. —Unsigned comment by 68.218.101.131 (talk • contribs).
- I believe it will be Artoo. He is the one who made it so the important events in the movies happened, after all.. Darth Zaktius 01:18, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Out of all these people were saying Jaina is the most likely one to be on the cover. shes the sword of the jedi and that would make her invincible.
- Well, the real trick here is the name itself. We have main characters all around that are lining up to die. Jacen, Luke and Ben are the main people we're seeing. By the name Invincible, some can assume we have a dramatic ending to one or more of these three heroes. It's possible two will die and one will come out on top, or Invincible. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 05:13, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I believe it has been stated on one talk page or another that The Big Cheese has made it very very clear that no more major characters are going to die. Darth Bassan94 12:59, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Yea they did state that. Jaina is gonna be on the cover and that no more main characters will die. they shud release the cover already since we already know though.
Jacen is going to die because he is the sith and the bad guys always die. Duh!
[edit] Death?
- "This book will also determine which of the three movie characters will die in the book." Do we have a source for this? If not, it's too radical of a speculation to leave in. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 01:37, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Well maybe there is no source, but if there was a major death thats the book it would happen in right??—Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).
- If we don't know there'll be a major death, it shouldn't be in one of our articles. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 16:31, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Yea ur right. but who do u think will die?? Luke, Leia, or Han?? —Unsigned comment by 68.218.99.3 (talk • contribs).
- This talk page isn't for speculation. If we aren't even sure anyone will in fact die, it shouldn't be in the article.
- None. It has already been said that Lucas has decreed none of them can die in this series, which is a bummer... Aeods 22:56, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
It could also be Jaina, Ben, or even Tenel Ka. User:Darth_Bassan94

20:48, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it could. You all are welcome to your guesses, but if there is no source for this speculation, it should be removed. That is the purpose of this discussion, not to make guesses of who (if anyone) will die. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 21:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Great, I never even noticed QG removed it ^_^. Never mind. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 21:44, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
I think that if Tenel Ka dies, itll be sooner than Invincible. —Unsigned comment by 68.218.99.3 (talk • contribs).
At the risk of speculating, I doubt Luke or Ben would die. Why? Luke had a visiion back in NJO about him and Ben on a beach, and wasn't sure if Mara was around. ~ Darth Fidelus

[edit] Plot Summary
The Plot Summary seems to be really colloquial, referring to characters as "bad guys" and speculation about the events that aren't even confirmed makes it seem quite unprofessional. Aeods 22:58, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
what does the word colloquial mean?? and wat summary?
- Colloquial means using common words, or slang, for example "Good Day kind gentleman, how are you" would be 'proper' English, whereas "Aw g'day mate, how's it hanging?" is colloquialism. The Plot Summary, listed under, well, Plot Summary. EDIT: Ah, I see its gone anyway, somebody probably noticed it too. 220.239.227.179 13:43, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
yea well wat did it say??
[edit] Cover
Jaina looks real good but Caedus looks kinda crappy though. —Unsigned comment by 71.91.137.1 (talk • contribs).
- My heart just about gave out when I saw this cover. It's certainly a far cry from the osik'la cover of Fury. Darth Bassan94 16:08, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- No. You are not a Mandalorian. Speak English. Fury was a good cover as is this, but I assume osik'la means bad? Mando'ade was the worst thing that has ever happened to Star Wars... Aeods 23:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- How do we know that that's Caedus? While this would seem likely, since Jaina knew she would face Caedus eventually, for all we know it could be Ben Skywalker. Perhaps Caedus's corrupting techniques finally worked.205.209.93.44 12:03, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Because Sue confirmed it's Jacen and Jaina? And only an idiot would think otherwise, considering this is the LAST book, where Jacen is going to be taken out. Aeods 23:26, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Someone just removed part of the BTS section that said "The cover will feature Jaina Solo dueling her brother, Jacen Solo." Darth Bassan94 14:24, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- No Fury was not a good cover. It looked like an eight-year-old blended Luke & Mara's faces, then Photoshopped it into a completely unrelated scene. Also, Aeods, can you be professional and stop jabbing other people? And stop speculating, for fierfek's sake. Darth Bassan94 01:29, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not speculating "for fierfek's sake". Sue herself said it was Jaina vs. Jacen, and I'm not "jabbing" other people. The statement that he's not a Mandalorian is a true one, and my comment about how I hate the language was directed at the language not him. Saying only an idiot would think otherwise about the cover was a general comment of disbelief that anyone could think that it's not Jaina or Jacen considering it's been confirmed that that's who it is. Aeods 00:51, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Anyone who believes the cover depicts anything other than a Jaina vs. Jacen is a fool. Period. Firebird Phoenix Rising 02:05, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Hey. They're twins. Twins usually always fight. They can't help it, you know. But in this case, that's not the kind of fighting we have in mind, right? - Will Karner 11:19 AM, 8 December 2007
- Yea your right. And Fury was a good cover. I wonder if the war will end before the fight or after it or not at all. Darth Revanon 02:36, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Per the notice at the top of the page, the talk page is for discussion of the article, not the subject. That includes any speculation on events in the book. Take it to a message board. - Lord Hydronium 19:56, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually the front cover backround could have to do with the end of the war. cause it could be the last battle of the war. so yea i kinda think the end of the war has a lot to do with the cover. Darth Revanon 10:13 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- And who said that Jacen was the one who was gonna be wiped out?? it cud be Jaina to or Jaina could think that she killed him and leave him just like Obi-Wan did with Anakin and its not like the stuff in LOTF hasnt been copied from the prequels a little bit. Darth Revanon 11:03 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, guys...honestly. One Administrator already said do not continue this discussion here. Now, two users have disregarded that warning. If anyone else choses to disregard what Lord Hydronium, or now myself have said, then those users will find themselves temporarily banned. So, to say again -- Per the notice at the top of the page, the talk page is for discussion of the article, not the subject. Which means this talk page is here for ways to discuss ways to improve the article, talk out edit wars, etc. It's not for speculation and/or arguments about a book cover. Greyman(Paratus) 16:45, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Facts from Sue herself, so that there is no dispute and no discussion. The two are Jaina and Jacen, Jaina being the one with the purple lightsaber and Jacen the one with the red lightsaber. The background is just a generic background, and has little connection to anything. Those two facts can be found by browing the BCAT VIP Thread on the official site. [edit] Mara and Lumiya?
- Why were they taken out of the Characters List when they are defonitly gonna be mentioned. Darth Revanon 6:42, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- And you have a copy of the book in front of you so that you know that for sure? Aeods 11:48, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Just for that, there going on the list.
[edit] June 3rd?
I noticed that someone changed the release date to June 3rd instead of May 13th, the actual date mentioned in the article, and that it was the result of being moved forward by a week. Has the date been changed again?--Nefirus 03:03, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] New Plot Summary
I think that its pretty interesting, though everything that it says is pretty much everything that we already know. However the only new thing is that there is finally new mention of the dark man that has been haunting Luke Skywalkers dreams since ohi dont remember the last book the dark man was mentioned in, but i think that it was Tempest or Exile.--Darth Revanon 4:51, 08 February 2007 (UTC)
- I do believe it was tempest, but don't quote me on that one...as for the dark man, does anyone else think that he's Darth Krayt (aka A'sharad Hett)? I know, no speculation blah blah blah, but come on. Let's keep it fun...--LtCol. JuiceStain 18:09, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I cant answer that question cause i dont read those comics. i just read the books. so what do you think is gonna happen in Revelation and Invincible??--Darth Revanon 4:50, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, my bro got Volume 1 of the comics and I picked it up one day...as for your other question (LoL) i thought that Jacen (Caedus, watev) was finally gonna die in Revelation, with those mysterious Sith people coming out of the shadows. My thoery, however, has been dashed to pieces with the emergence of the Invincible cover. Oh well...--LtCol. JuiceStain 02:07, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yea i actually thought that the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War was gonna end in Revelation and Invincible just be with like, the hunt for Caedus and stuff like that, but the plot summary of Revelation says that the reckoning thing for both sides is near, and it aint gonna be in this book. it actually wud be kool if the war never ended and it continued on till the next series that there making after this one. Do you think that this next series of books will be a whole new era or the legacy of somthing??--Darth Revanon 8:45, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think that this Legacy series firmly establishes the legacy of hte skywalkers. They should do with the next series kinda what they did with the Clone Wars type era, with just a buncha differant writers doin their own thing throughtout instead of this "super-collaboration" thing they got going. (I.E. Republic commando series as opposed to the MedStar series as opposed to stand alone novels [Labyrinth of Evil, Dark Rendezvous]. Of course, that's just an idea. LoL--LtCol. JuiceStain 01:55, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh that would be like a good idea cause we would have no idea what was gonna be expected in the book kinda how we know like Tempest, Inferno, and Invincible follow there own story line cause there only written by the same author. and the same goes with Bloodlines, Sacrifice, and Revelation. But the next series they do shouldnt be as copied as the prequel trilogy that much although i have 2 admit there has been some completely unexpected stuff in this series that never happened in the prequel movies like the split of the war and the way its being fought by 3 different sides and the way u have no idea what side which planets are apart of.--Darth Revanon 4:44, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, true...that is kinda cool. Well, i guess we'll just have to wait and see, huh?--LtCol. JuiceStain 00:14, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yea but the only problem is that i dont wanna wait lol. Its like u want this book more than Revelation cause thats the end but u dont want it cuz theres nothing after it, well so far theres nothing after it.--Darth Revanon 10:28, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah man, it totally sux. No win situation.--LtCol. JuiceStain 22:20, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- youve got that right. Well like obi-wan or some jedi would say, patience. thank goodness there can actually be impatient people cuz if u couldnt be thered be a bunch of Darth Vaders everywhere lol.--Darth Revanon 6:26, 14 February 2008
- I hear ya lol--LtCol. JuiceStain 17:32, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- God I cant believe that Revelation is coming out tomorrow!! the whole week went real fast.--Darth Revanon 2:47, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed, I went to B&N this morning with some friends and decided to look for it, but realized it wasn't out yet [sigh] oh well. LoL.--LtCol. JuiceStain 20:34, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yea I actually went 2 the mall and I went 2 waldenbooks and i was like 2 the lady that was at the register if they had the new star wars book that came out and then i said its called Revelation and she was like its already on the cart and I would give it 2 u but if we ring it up on the register a day early well get in big trouble and i was like thanx. Then I was mad lol. well Tomorrow will be here soon and Ive waited since I finished Fury which was in December till now so one more day wont hurt u know.--Darth Revanon 7:45, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I could be wrong, but I don't think it came out today...at least, they didn't have it on the shelves...--LtCol. JuiceStain 19:28, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yea but on the homepage it says that Revelation is scheduled for release??--Darth Revanon 2:47, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- I know...I went to B&N, and the looked at teh shelves, but there was nothing there. Weird...--LtCol. JuiceStain 20:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh that sucks. But my library already has the book there and I put it on hold and if i wanted 2 pick up the book i can. so that tells me that the book is already out so dont give up looking 4 the book cuz its out there lol.--Darth Revanon 2:47, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yea man, Florida SUCKS at times like this...we always get everything last!! LoL.--LtCol. JuiceStain 22:37, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- lol. I got the book yesterday. Did you manage 2 get it??--Darth Revanon 7:21, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, man! It totally sux! The two closest bookstores are too far away! It's a total PITA. --JuiceStain 21:10, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh that does suck. Well the book is pretty good so dont think that its gonna be boaring. Oh yea and like this person yesterday said to me yesterday on Revelations talk page yesterday under the talk part called called Anyone have it?? and he said that he read it and bla bla and then he said that i shouldnt add like characters to the list that are not in the book and i shouldnt guess and stuff like that so that the people who have copies would have 2 fix the whole list. then he was like and u didnt alphabatize the list and its not like I wasnt the only person who added Revelations characters to the new list and man did I give him a nice reply back lmao. You should actually go and check it out lol. Only if u want to of course. and if u do ull see how wrong that person is and how he deserved my reply. Again its in Revelations talk page and again u dont have 2 look if u dont want 2 but hey u might laugh at the reply that I wrote.--Darth Revanon 4:30, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Nice one, man. LoL. DOn't get banned, though!!--JuiceStain 19:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Lol yea that is true. Im sure your tired of me asking you this but, did you get Revelation yet?? and did you see Invincibles new summary?? that book is gonna be so good.--Darth Revanon 4:15, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I have a lotta patience, don't worry about it lol. But no, bot yet, buddy...tomorrow, hopefully. I'm gonna be near a bookstore, so that should work. --JuiceStain 00:59, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- lol ok. so, did you read the Invincible summary?? that book is gonna be real good.--Darth Revanon 9:43, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Finally read Revelation!! Woohoo!--JuiceStain Rock on!
01:42, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Awesome! I finished it 2!! it was real awesome. Cant wait till Invincible comes out. Man, Invincible better be like 400 pages long lol that would be so awesome. --Darth Revanon 3:30 5 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] twin sacrifice
i was reading dark journey the other day and noticed that the vong were talking about forcing jaina and her brother into a duel to the death , i saw the cover for invincible and started thinking "the vong were right just a few years off" jacen's turn to the darkside be some part of the destiny the vong/vergere had planned for him amd his sister or is it just concidence? Verlok 22:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, u might be onto something. I should re-read that book. Forgot about it completely.--LtCol. JuiceStain 23:56, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- If you remeber most of the "gods" of the vong were bassed on the real jedi, so it probably wasn't just projecting their things onto others but at the time when the force was striped from their species, before then someone must of had a force vision of things to come. And did they in their prophacies say that one whould get killed, I forgot. I kinda thought they might just bring Jacen back to the light side, and if no more main characters are suppose to be killed, why whould Jace, a main charactor, be killed. Im surprised they havn't had Anican come back from teh force like Quigon and speak to luke or something, he did fully give himself to the force, or ven go to tahiri and tell her what a dikut she is. However back to the article; that cover, is Jaina going at Jacen with darkside, her face looks like pure hatred, and it looks like her blade is going to hit him at the angle it is at, and there by "twin sacrifice" him. - Yeah, dude. You really have to slow down on the future stories, despite what they look like on the outside. But by what you mean by "twin sacrifice," perhaps that could set on one twin sacrificing its life to save the other. You know, like pushing someone out of or in the way from something bad coming towards them, or buying time for escape. 131.109.1.48 15:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dramatis Personae?
Is this Dramatis Personae the one in Invincible?? Because Ben isnt a Jedi Knight. If its not real than it should be removed.--~Darth Revanon 7:28, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe he becomes one during Invincible. Anyway, Jedi Knight is sometimes used as an informal term that is used to describe any member of the Jedi Order, regardless of their position within it. I think this should be left until Invincible is released --Tom rules 10:48, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yea ur probably right.--Darth Revanon 7:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Spoiler tag
Where are the "major spoilers"? -MPK 02:52, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- There are not spoilers in the sense of a full book plot, but most the characters and such linked on the page for the book contain spoiler information. -Caamasijedi49
[edit] Unnessesary Trivia
"The cover depicts Jaina Solo fighting her fallen twin brother, Darth Caedus." - Is it really worth mentioning now, when the spoilers are up? Mauser 21:15, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Who or what does the title refer to now?
Now that we know the ending, can we say it for sure that Jaina has become sort of invincible for defeating Jacen? If Jacen had won, it would make more sense to refer to a Sith as "invincible," but to a Jedi? I'm not sure. It's definitely not within the Jedi "modesty limit." - TopAce (Talk) 13:36, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
I think the point is that no one is invincible. Jacen believed himself to be invincible because he thought Luke was the only one who could defete him, and after the Jedi attacked the Anakin Solo and he survived, he believed that nothing could take him down. He never uses the term "invincible" but my take on it is that's what he believed himself to be. Only to have Jaina-just a Jedi Knight-take him down, proving that he is most definitely not invincible.Allana Solo 00:31, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Sexual Tones
Is it me or does Invincible have more sexual tones in it than the other books in the series? For example: When Tahiri tries to seduce Ben to get the location of the secret Jedi base. Drgns007Sith Lord 18:43, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it means seduce like that, I think it means seduce with the Dark Side of the Force. Jaina Leia MaraJedi Knight
- Actually, according to what I've read at the Jedi Council Forums, it DOES mean like that. Supposedly she stuck her hand down his pants. Darth Anakin 20:34, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, well I haven't read the book yet, I just made an educated guess. Jaina Leia MaraJedi Knight
- Sorry, Jaina Leia Mara, I didn't mean to sound rude, if that's how it came across. Darth Anakin 20:49, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Nah, its alright Jaina Leia MaraJedi Knight
- Being a guy it wasn't hard yo figure out what she was doing to Ben. But I agree with Jaina Leia Mara that Tahiri was trying to seduce him with the dark side. Drgns007Sith Lord 12:12, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- I....have...no idea what you people are talking about. Explain to me. -Colonel Solo
Galactic Alliance Gaurd 19:56, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
It means jaina is invincible because of her lightsaber
- I would like to add to the sexual tones... Oh, minor spoilers if you haven't read... When Leia is wearing a risque disguise and Jaina expresses her hope that Han doesn't know about it to which Leia replies "Of course he knows. He loves it when I dress like this." Followed by Jaina tried not to imagine her father leering at her mother in that outfit and failed miserably. Invincible p.67 in the paperback.Allana Solo 22:38, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
I think its both seducing literally and with the dark side. because like darth anakin said she stuck her hand down his pants. but she wanted him to give her informantion too. Sainz 22:53, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- As said ealier being a guy it was very clear she was just trying to get info. Why would she seduce Ben to the dark side. She wouldn't want to take an apprentice after only a half a year of being a Sith. She still thinks Caedus can change the past for her and anakin. Steves490 22:59, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
So she was just trying to get information by seducing him. and yeah isnt she only with Caedus so he can change her past anyway? so why would she want to seduce him to the dark side?Sainz 23:16, 4 January 2009 (UTC) I say it a good thing ben had the force be cause wen i was 14(or even now at 21) i dont think i could have said no to a hot 27 year old blonde in tigh black shimmer silk.Xion1212 01:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)xion1212
[edit] Event: nanovirus
Got a question about when the assasin strain nanovirus was released on Mandalore that affected Fetts family, did this also affect all the clones and their decendants? If so this will affect alot of people on Mandalore (i.e Kad'ika, Jaing's family, and any other clone). Deanscotsmen022 12:29, 12 June 2008 (UTC)deanscotsmen022
That is a very good question. I would hope that it does not affect all those other people. Boba Fett was an unaltered clone of Jango, the rest were altered in various ways to make them better soldiers as stated in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Hopefully the alterations in the other clones were enough differences to keep them from being affected by the nanovirus. But this is just speculation, I have no proof.Allana Solo 00:25, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
From what I recall the novel implied that Mirta Gev could no longer return to Mandalore either, which would seem to imply even a small amount of Fett DNA(1/4 in her case) is enough to be affected. Likewise they said in the novel that *narrowing* the virus's focus is the hard part, and I doubt the Moffs would have bothered to refine it enough not to target anyone besides Boba. Which could cause a lot of problems for a lot of Mandalore's population, especially if the Clones have been...prolific. I certainy hope not, it would really stink for all Traviss's work with the Skiratas and Kad'ika's increasing role to be destroyed so quickly. -guest
