Mercenary Edit

I was under the impression that guys who were dressed like John were mercenaries hired by the Disciples of Ragnos. Additionally, the audio exchange between them is a reference to the game Soldier of Fortune, wherein, as the title suggests the main character (John) and his sidekick (Hawk) are mercenaries. • Yeah, me too, but I guess theoretically, you could be a mercenary and a cult-member at the same time. Also, working for the cult, I guess John and pals are at least affiliated with the cult. As to the SoF thing, I'd say that's a BTS, innit? KEJ 11:27, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Subtitles Edit

I think I read somewhere in the JK3 subtitle scripts a subtitle (probably unused) that said his name was spelled something like Ja'aan. I'll look it up. -Aiddat 12:22, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, in one of the assets pk3s there's a folder called strings that has subtitles and other messages. In misc.str, I found this conversation:

REFERENCE MME_03L01 LANG_ENGLISH "Hokk, do you read?"

REFERENCE MME_03L02 LANG_ENGLISH "I read you, J'aahn."

REFERENCE MME_03L03 LANG_ENGLISH "Meet me at station Six-C."

DeathEdit

I'm pretty sure you can jump right past him, so I'm changing the bit about the death. It's implied that the rest of the mercs were defeated, so I'll say he could have been captured. In the game any that you left behind just disappear, play for yourself, heh. -Aiddat 23:42, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

• I've removed the bit about capture and all that stuff, because I think it's a bit to speculative. I've just added the possibility of Jaden killing him at the end of your sentence where it says that Jaden might have spared or ignored him, since the possibility of killing J'aahn is just as likely as aoiding him.
