Any way an image of him before his injury could be uploaded for the infobox?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:18, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

  • So we must put a picture of a fine Malgus for his infobox ? Maxattac 00:20, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
    • That's not what i meant.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:21, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
      • There's really not any great poses of him unscarred. In all instances, the trailer either crops off the top of his head, or he's screaming/running/shooting. --Imperialles 00:30, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
        • True, nevermind, then.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:31, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
        • No, in the beggining of the trailer, his head is briefly facing the camera. Somebody with good timing could probably get a decent picture in. EVANTHETOON 21:39, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
          • I'm sorry, you were right. I looked at the trailer again, and realized he wasn't ever looking at the camera except in the current picture. My mistake. EVANTHETOON 22:05, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Voice[]

Is he voiced by the same actor who voices Jolee Bindo? Jayden Matthews 11:28, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, is the same actor --Revan, Prodigal Knight 22:05, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Helmet[]

Why does'nt he have helmet on ? Unsigned comment by CC-4028 "Jett" (talk • contribs).

  • We don't know. --Imperialles 22:59, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • It's just to single him out as important I think, otherwise he could be any trooper when he reappears throughout the cinematic. In a real assault he'd obviously wear his helmet. Darth Tyranitar 10:45, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Name change[]

OK, since it is established that he was a commander of Havoc Squad, might I recommend moving the article to Unidentified Havoc Squad commander? This would shorten the title slightly and remove the need to parenthasize (oh come on, that should be a real word) the article name. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 15:34, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • Sounds like a good idea to me. Darth Tyranitar 15:38, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
    • Sounds good to me as well. Gry Sarth 13:37, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism[]

I would like to request this page to be semi - protected, it has been vandalized by a unregistered user.

' Information Invalid. Error. System failure. Massive explosion. Do a backflip.

Incorrect information '

He put that right inside of the page, I'm going to undo this edit so it's fixed, but I'm requesting to put it under semi - protection. Unsigned comment by Nuchiha101 (talk • contribs).

Any opposition to moving the page?[]

Seeing as there was no opposition previously to moving the page to Unidentified Havoc Squad commander, I was wondering if that still was the case? Since it was never acted upon, and the article has since gone to Featured status, I figured it would be good to re-open the discussion before moving. Ruthless Xero(Comment) 02:49, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

Republic Army and Special Forces[]

Why isn't "Republic Army" and "Special Forces" in the "Affiliation" field of the infobox if it is mentioned in the article itself? Imperators II 22:35, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

  • It's best not to get too extensive with affiliation lists. I'm okay with adding in Republic Special Forces though. But given that we aren't certain of the military hierarchy, the Special Forces could operate beside the army as opposed to beneath it. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:42, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • But should the article state "Republic Army's Special Forces division", then? Imperators II 22:52, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
      • I've added it as simply Republic Special Forces, because that is the organization's official title, and it may be an independent military entity separate from the army. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:55, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
        • I'm probably phrasing this incorrectly, but what I mean to say is that adding the army in the infobox just isn't necessary. Special Forces is in there, though. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:56, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
          • What I meant to ask, though, was whether the reference to the Republic Army in the first introduction paragraph and the first "Biography" paragraph of the article shouldn't be removed. (According to your own statement "[..] given that we aren't certain of the military hierarchy, the Special Forces could operate beside the army as opposed to beneath it".) Have the Special Forces been confirmed to be part of the Army? Imperators II 23:08, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

He has a name![]

Okay, we've got a name for this guy. He goes by the suitably heroic handle of "Jace Malcom", according to an interview with Bioware's Charles Boyd. I'd edit the article myself, but I'm not sure how to change the URL and set up a proper redirect, so I'll leave it to more capable hands.

Ah, so he does have a name, about time! The way to change the name of the article is to select "Move" in the little drop down menu that normally says "Edit". I would do it myself, but I am not sure if the page has been protected since it is an evolving article. Zeta1127 of the 89th Legion (talk) 03:33, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

About time that he has a name :) --Senjuto 16:40, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

Image name[]

Now that Jace has a name, shouldn't the name of the image be changed from Unidentified Republic Trooper Alderaan.jpg to Jace Malcom.jpg? Near-sighted Jedi 01:50, June 26, 2012 (UTC)

  • Image names are usually irrelevant. Images can be called almost anything, so it's fine to leave as is.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 01:53, June 26, 2012 (UTC)

'Listen File'[]

I do believe that the Listen file at the top of the article, isn't the correct one. It's for a different quote. Don't believe me? Listen to it yourself. --86.140.156.105 10:28, June 22, 2014 (UTC)
