[edit] The Original Twelve
We actually don't know all of the original twelve yet. The ones who've been confirmed are:
- Tionne (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Dorsk 81 (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Kirana Ti (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Kam Solusar (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Streen (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Gantoris (Jedi Academy Trilogy)
- Corran Horn (under the alias of Kieran Halcyon; I, Jedi)
- Brakiss (I, Jedi)
- Kyle Katarn (who soon after left due to his concerns about the Dark Side; The Essential Chronology)
- Madurrin (Who hasn't been mentioned by name, but is internally assumed by Lucasfilm to be the Anx seen in the picture in The Essential Chronology, as confirmed by Leland Chee here.)
At this point, no one else has been confirmed. The alleged "Harlan" character often bandied about as being a member of the original students is merely a character creation example from The Jedi Academy Sourcebook that shouldn't be treated as representing someone who actually exists in the Star Wars Galaxy; Leland Chee is quoted saying as much here (unfortunately, the original TOS post stating this has apparently since been deleted). Many other alleged members of the original twelve (including Keyan Farlander, Havet Storm, and Desann) were quite likely early students, but at no point have been confirmed as being members of the Original Twelve; they may be good speculative choices, but they aren't fact, which is what this encyclopedia strives to present. jSarek 08:52, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Is their a number for the total padawans the original 12 had, and for that matter how many Jedi are in the New Republic?
[edit] Jedi Praxeum vs Jedi praxeum
I can't recall what sources beyond the Jedi Academy series use, but in that series, this academy has "praxeum" in lower case. What do later sources do? --SparqMan 06:40, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Padawan
Near the end of the article it mentions the word padawan. The term padawan was no longer used to my knowledge... But I may very well be mistaken.
[edit] Another Praxeum
- I found this in another article: "Reboam was the site of a Jedi Praxeum which Darth Vader sealed with its Jedi trapped inside." Maybe it can be incorporated into this article. Jaywin 00:32, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jedi Masters
A paragraph in the Prodigal sons section states:
- It is worth noting that all three were to become central figures in Skywalker's Jedi Order. By the start of the Crisis of the Disciples of Ragnos both Katarn and Horn had obtained the rank of Jedi Master and had several appreintices under their tutelage. Jade would also eventually advance to the rank of Jedi Master.
Katarn probably was a Master then, but the others came later. Jade became a Master by about 25 ABY. Horn become a Master before 35 ABY. Going to try and reword that to match. -Fnlayson 21:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
